I think, therefore I am.

This is one of my favorite scenes in cinematic history because it's just two friends hanging out, singing about their love life. It shows that even though Red is a demon and Abe is basically a fishman, they are just like everybody else. Del Toro really knows how to humanize two characters, especially Red, who are very different from each other and other people. This scene is a true work of art.

Nolan’s Batman movies are far from the originals. There’s kinda been a lot of live action Batmen.

This must have been an awesome scene to shoot; I can only imagine the laughs they had on the set :D

The fact that Hellboy not only knows the words, but also when to do the Harmonies suggests that he's listened to it a good few times as well..

2:17 Considering how much of much of a hot head Hell Boy is, I’m pretty sure that beer kicked in immediately for Abe to put his arm on Hell Boy’s shoulder.

This scene ALWAYS reminded me of my daughters father and his friends. When we saw this movie when it came out, I brought up to him that this was him and a particular person, he spit out his soda in laughter cause he knew it was true. R.I.P. My dear friend. We may not have worked out in the end, but I wouldnt have traded those 10yrs with you for anything.

I happened to meet Mr. Del-Toro today and lemme tell ya, he was the coolest fucking guy ever. For this scene and your contributions to cinema, I SALUTE YOU SIR.

This was my favorite scene of the movie. It was nice to see Red and Abe bond, sing and talk about the women they love.

I bet people would have remembered this movie more had it not come out the same year as The Dark Knight...

And this one in particular came out during a year when more grounded comic book films were released like TDK and Iron Man 1, which makes it all the more 'ahead of its time'.

With a single scene this film became one of my favorites and a comfort movie of mine. Truly Del Toro can do it all.

I'm so glad I saw this in theaters when it came out, definitely one of my favorite memories as a teenager. :D Love this scene!

A scene that truly adds emotional attachment to a couple of characters. Portrayed as monsters to the public, but very human behind the scenes. Monsters being humans. It's the little things like this that movies miss out on. Underrated but beautifully written

I feel you. I almost cry every time when I hear this song bc I know that we'll never see Red and Liz live happily ever after, at least on screen. We can imagine it. In an alternate reality, maybe Hellboy 3 was made.

This movie once got aired on TV in my country when I was in Junior High School. My best friend and I back then used to sing this song while drinking coke pretending to be drunk and re-enacting these two. This song kinda became our song whenever we go to karaoke.
