This is one of the most iconic trails there is for off-roading. One thing I wish you would include is clear mentions on where the bypasses are, and what level of difficulty they are for those people that want to see this trail but aren’t necessarily looking to risk damage/breakage. Absolutely everyone highlights the hard sections and shows the tough stuff, but everyone seems to ignore the bypasses and mention when there’s a hard section that can’t be bypassed.

Our group is a huge fan of starting smaller. A 37” tire is a big tire to me but seem to be the normal these days. If you’re going to be daily driving the rig, I would run 35s without a question. You can always go bigger. I see a lot of folks on the trails these days that start with 37s or bigger tires but they still have a lot to learn as far as wheeling goes (learning their rig, picking lines, throttle control etc). I will get 37s some day but it just opens a can of worms to only get 1” more clearance at the diff. A good driver with 33s or 35s can hit a ton of trails. Most of the rigs in my videos are on 35s. Check out my Rusty Nail video. Coy is running 35s on that. I ran Behind the Rocks 7 years ago on 33s and did great and didn’t bypass any of the optional obstacles. These two trails are the 2nd hardest in Moab next to Pritchett. I will probably run Pritchett this summer on 35s. It also depends on what your goals are. If you’re just starting out, I would focus on picking lines and driving and you will be WAY better off in the long run! Have fun! It’s a blast!!! - Geoff

If you made it that far and watched the 3rd video, then there is nothing any more difficult than what you saw up to that point. The 4th episode is strictly the optional Escalator obstacle. I’ve got over an hour of footage showing how to climb Escalator but you can just bypass it. The last episode is going to be detailing how to get back to the trailhead: from Escalator to the Sand Flats road via the old exit or showing the new(er) exit back to the trailhead. So the last episode is more navigation focused.
