The recon class is a very underrated class and in some cases it's a very underplayed class. Everyone wants to be the sniper but not as many people want to be the more important spotter class. The spotter is an officer that can report to command and has the ability to go behind enemy lines and do a lot to hurt the other team's war effort. A good spotter can make or break games. And this is what this guide is for. How to play spotter right.
This is a revamped and simplified version of my previous video about a year back, to me this video seems a little more refined and cleaned up, there’s always room for improvement but I’m happy for now.
DISCLAMER: this guide is more for Warfare and Offensive, not necessarily towards Skirmish mode. But some of the principles can apply there too.

I'm glad you do content on this game. I get so annoyed when im a spotter and trying to get him to spawn on my point and flank the enemy but he just runs off for kills. I have kicked so many people that want to play Call of Duty out of my squad.

Good. Exactly what I do, even if I get a good one but he's not talking they're getting kicked. I usually move the OP just before doing it so if they get the arse it takes them longer to find you

Great info I agree the current meta for recon to always watch enemy Artillery is kind of whack, depending on if they have a good player on it, better off going for nodes and Garry.

Competitive counteracts that by only allowing one gun going, and no recon harassment.

Well it depends on the league, some leagues limit or ban it, but others have no restrictions, a great arty player can really stop an advance but so can destroying a garrison, at high level play, it can be hard to make that decision, you usually can send a sniper to deal with arty though
What about munitions boxes from jeeps? Still one resupply?

As far as I know it should still be one resupply per life from jeep supply

Effective artillery needs to be dealt with. Until they do something about reworking this garbage, a good artillery player unchecked can turn the tide of a game.
All the newbies that want to play sniper,😂 I kick everyone that isn't at least a level 50 and change the squad to locked. My favourite time to do it is jumping into an existing squad that no longer has a spotter and kicking the level 5 mutts that haven't even clocked up a kill. Anyone that watches this- dont faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccckkking play spotter or sniper if you don't have a Mic.

I have better luck with people under level 50. They’re usually willing to learn and help me attack garrisons. Anyone who is 100+ is going to tell me they know more than I do and mute their mic.

Yup. New players are eager to learn and giving them the info they need to succeed instantly turns them in to better players. The people who think they know better are usually silent unless they have something to complain about, and spend more time doing that than helping win the game.@@dbabdbbbghbb
