I'm so happy to see you're still around and that you're online. I have recommended your comparison video about Helios 44-2 lenses to so many people over the years, I've lost count. I went out today and took photos with my KMZ Helios, bought from a seller in Ukraine, and for the first time, managed to get the swirly bokeh to work. I thought of you, so I looked and this has really cheered me up.

Hello ,What to choose between Biotar 58 f/2 and Helios 44-2 KMZ, if you can afford both? I saw ur previous video but I wonder if Biotar worths the extra money or Helios 44-2 will be great enough?

The same lens with a wider focal length would be awsome. Would it be possible to change the focal length of a lens when rehousing it just by moving the lens elements or would you have to add new glass to accomplish that?

Yes, of course. Mine is cheaper and once it is got listed on ebay you can grab it immediately.

Very interesting adaptation for film-makers of a great old lens - swirly blurs in motion! So glad to see you're back at the old stand in spite of all this horror; it's far from over, of course, and we in our free European countries need to support Ukraine in every way possible, especially militarily, since Ukraine is fighting for its freedom AND ours. can the same be done with a Helios 44M? It already has a 300 degree focus pull, I use it on my Canon EOS 2000D (which works great by the way)

Thank you! I plan to do entire set. Well i'm afraid i can't expain the whole rehousing process, as it goes deep in industrial design and mechanical engineering, CAD/CAM software. It is very complex matter.

Generous starting price , when I saw the thumbnail I thought it was not so enormous, maybe the size of a 44m. and that I would have difficulty importing one from russia. To keep my collection up to date. You made it great work, would have liked to see how it's assembled. I like video , I don't have the equipment it's designed for.
