@@kybadd9744 The reason it looks barely noticeable here, because Rob's skull is about an inch longer than Jenny's. When Rob got to 5'9", his chin level is now equal to Jenny's. It creates an illusion that Rob still looks the same height. Now if Rob's skull is an inch smaller than Jenny's, it may give the illusion that the difference looks more noticeable.

I'm an alright looking guy but only 5 7.5 (171cm) and it sucks because whenever I'm sitting on the train or in class girls notice me, but as soon as I stand up it seems like they lose all interest and don't want to bother talking to me anymore. Sometimes it seems like short girls would give me a chance but later on I see them with 6' 1'' (185cm) dudes and then I lose all hope again. To me the ideal range is 5' 10.5'' (179cm) - 6' 0.5'' (184cm). Tall enough to be taken seriously but not so tall that you stand out too much.

Shifting my weight in towards my toes/front, helped me raise my feet arch, while having my toes, front of foot/ball of foot, and heels stay on the floor( this is also something that involuntarily happens when i stand in a great posture). Hi Rob! I would like to know what do you think of this information? One way to determine your height is to look at the size of your feet, as this is related to how tall you can be. Of course the human body ends up growing until age 18 in the case of men, so this is not 100% accurate but it does give you a very clear idea of where you could go. There are cases with small feet and tall statures and shorter people with very large feet, this is based more on averages. US: American Size EUR: European Size CM: Foot length (from heel to tip of longest toe) Usually this information comes in the box of your shoes or tennis, it can also come on the tongue or sometimes on the insole. 12US 46EUR 30CM ---------- 1.99 as maximum height. 11US 45EUR 29CM ---------- 1.94 as maximum height. 10.5US 44.5EUR 28.5CM ---------- 1.91.5 as max height. 10US 44EUR 28CM ---------- 1.89 as maximum height. 9.5US 43EUR 27.5CM ---------- 1.84 as max height. 9US 42.5EUR 27CM ---------- 1.81.5 as maximum height. 8.5US 42EUR 26.5CM ---------- 1.79 as max height. 8US 41EUR 26CM ---------- 1.74 as maximum height. 7.5US 40.5EUR 25.5CM ---------- 1.69.5 as max stature. 7US 40EUR 25CM ---------- 1.65 as maximum height. Another factor that will determine your final height is at what age you began your puberty, there are 5 types of puberty: VERY EARLY PUBERTY: It begins at 10 years old and its maximum growth peak occurs from 11 to 12 years. EARLY PUBERTY: It begins at age 11 and its maximum growth peak occurs from 12 to 13 years. INTERMEDIATE PUBERTY: It begins at 12 years of age and its maximum growth peak occurs from 13 to 14 years. LATE PUBERTY: Starts at 13 years of age and its maximum growth peak occurs between 14 and 15 years. VERY LATE PUBERTY: It begins at 14 years of age and its maximum growth peak occurs from 15 to 16 years. In this case, the most benefited people are those who had a very late puberty, since they remain growing for a longer time and remain a few centimeters taller. EXAMPLE: A person measures 1.64 at age 16, began puberty at age 10. You will end up measuring 164.8 A person measures 1.64 at age 16, began puberty at age 11. You will end up measuring 165.3 A person measures 1.64 at age 16, began puberty at age 12. You will end up measuring 166.1 A person measures 1.64 at age 16, began puberty at age 13. You will end up measuring 167.8 A person measures 1.64 at age 16, began puberty at age 14. You will end up measuring 171.4 How you can see the variation is 6.6 cm between starting puberty at 10 years and starting at 14. All this information is based on averages but you can apply it to your case. It is not 100% accurate, as you can be the tallest in your family, you can be the size of your family, or you can be the smallest. Genetics are unpredictable but with these averages you can get an idea.

Hey rob, this is going to be a long one, sorry about that, but i have been trying this for the past whole week and i would really appreciate your opinion. I tried using a mirror on my wall mounted cabinet, to measure my height. The floor is tiled and looks flat, but i cannot stand on one tile, the place where i could stand, is connected with two tiles. The mirror where i planned to mark and measure, is connected to a cabinet door so i could move it. So i made a marking on the mirror, moved the cabinet door around the areas where i place my foot on, around the area where my heels and soles would touch, holding it against my measuring tape, to check weather the tile is flat enough. I found that there is difference anywhere from 1-2mm's, around the area i place my foot. Is that a normal range of unevenness on tiles? I brought the mirror around the area where i place my heels(the area of the tile, around the middle of left and right heel) and made the marking. Could i get a reasonableness measurement with this? Or do i have to buy a flat board, place it under the mirror and measure ?would a flat board help even out this 1-2 mm's unevenness? Answers would be much appropriated!! Thanks!!

Hey Rob!, The average measurement of my 2 pm measurement, and my 8 am(straight out of bed) measurement, is usually anywhere from 166.25-166.35 cm's, on a normal day at home. This average figure could increase or decrease by around 1-1.5 mm's, depending on the day, and stress level. I have claimed my height as as 167cm's to people. Rob, isn't this a fair enough round up, and a fair enough claim?

Hey Rob!, there is this one more thing that that i'd just like to ask you. When measuring myself against my door, i normally make the markings first, and then measure myself. My floor is tiled. I made a measurement on the door, holding my tape measure against the door, having the hook rest around the area of tile, around the area between my left foot toe and my right foot toe, when my feet are placed in a position, similar to when i measure myself. Then I tried pulling the door towards me, and tried marking, while having the hook of the tape rest around the area of the tile, around the area between my left heel and right heel, when my feet are placed in a position, similar to when i measure myself. And i found that, this new marking is around 1 mm lower. So i lowered around 0.5mm's from my first marking, and made a new marking, to get an average of both the markings, so that i don't under measure myself. Isn't that a fair and logical thing to do? I'd appreciate your opinion!

Depends on your growth patterns tbh, maybe you've had your growth spurt and won't grow at all, maybe you've had one already but will have another growth spurt at like 18. Try checking with your dad and uncles to see at what age they started and stopped growing, you may also check something called the tanner stage, that'll will give you a relatively good guess. Otherwise you can just make an xray exam to see if your growth plates have already fused.

You know genetics play the most crucial part when it comes to height, so make sure to eat right, exercise at least an hour a day and mostly, try not to worry too much about this kind of things I was terrified at your age about not growing anymore, but trust me, feeling bad about those kind of things ain't worth it (and since I stopped worrying about it my life has been going in a really harmonic-sweet way) If your family is tall you'll surely be aswell so, best of lucks pal! Hope any height you end up let's you be as happy as you could ever be:)
