That guitar tone is still so damn awesome and unique to this day in 2020. They were so ahead of their time in do many ways.

​@@CaukyAsian Korn doesn't that very full and round guitar tone like Hed Pe does. Hed Pe were also very innovative in the way they mixed west coast hip hop in their music. Hed Pe have verifiably sounded like this since 1995. Just check Church Of Realities.

@@CaukyAsian Korn’s guitars sound nothing like this, the twangy high end comes from the use of a Fender strat with single coil pickups and the Ibanez guitar being played in an out of phase pickup position. It gives that signature twang that is probably more closely associated to Rage Against the Machine than Korn

Unbelievably underrated.

As a 90s and 2000’s hard rock fan I’m shocked I just found out about this band. I also like 90s hip hop so this to me is fucking amazing. Christmas 2020 bumping 🤘🏽

Self Titled album is pretty much the best debut album ive ever heard and im 43 me and my friends played that album so much back in the day that I pretty much knew the lyrics to the whole album. Wicked album.

This looked like it was blast. Still love (hed)pe to this day 🔥🔥🔥

We are in 2019. HED P.E. is still on my Playlist and I still listen to it every single fucking day.

hell yeah everything up til Truth Rising is great (including Truth Rising) but id say Insomnia and back are the best.

I saw them probably 7 times during this album. Best shows I’ve ever been too, the whole crowd whoop whooping at same time. It was awesome

2023 🎉 still rocking the shit out!

I fkn love the sound of that distorted Stratocaster... Everyone was going for the humbucker sound back then. I read they tuned the guitars B Standard, then used a 5 string bass. Pretty badass sound.

OMG, saw them at The Newport in Columbus, Ohio. Holy shit what a blast. Years after that I had more tickets to see them at Seattle and remember the moment I heard they broke up, cancelled the tour. Sad sad sad. I guess they were taking a break...

(Hed) e.g. in my opinion it is a band that was very wronged in nu metal! Deserved more recognition, Very good band!

this band- at this time - was really incredible. I saw them in 2003 (I was 13 lol) and that was a great show.. but, respectfully, they never really produced the type of music they did with chad and wes since then.
