Had the pleasure of meeting Matt the other day and was really surprised at how tall he was. The way you see him in these videos - smiling, very friendly and easy to talk to - he's exactly like that even when 'off-camera'. One of the guys I work with even loudly teased me in front of him - "You man-crushin' right now??" I blurted back - "Hell, yeah I am!" Really makes me happy to see that there are *still* people out here in Washington County who don't walk, talk and act like it's somehow discomforting to interact with the general public - Like it's a great day, regardless of being slammed with having 150 things to do before most people are even wide-awake.

When I was in Moab last year with my F250, whenever I got off the trails and was airing back up, people driving by were always stopping to see if I needed any help. I think it was mostly do to having my hood up so I could use the air compressor and the fact that it was so hot. It was nice to know though that if I truly need help, there were plenty of people willing to give me a helping hand.

Lizzy, Beautiful and talented Girl! I've noticed that you end up setting the hubs all the time I've got a little project for you. Grab a chunk of wood from a pallet and cut it to the same diameter as the inside of the twists for the lockouts and just cut out the notch for the center tab so that the two outside pieces fit into the lockouts then you have a wrench that'll turn them so you can use your whole hand rather than trying to twist it with just your fingers. It makes it a lot easier, and it only takes about 5 minutes to make that type of wrench out of scrap hard wood

One of the other reasons I've found (and it applies to me, as well) is that people don't want to be involved in a recovery because they're afraid that if they cause MORE DAMAGE in the process, then they'll be held liable. It's the old "no good deed goes unpunished" adage.

I love it when they just get in and drive the customer's vehicle out unassisted. I rented a Razor in the dessert and made a wrong turn. I was following gps and I turned too soon and was following the wash instead of the road which was right above me up the cliff. It was so close to the road that it was saying I was on the right trail. I got to the point where I could go no farther, had to turn around and didn't want to follow the wash all the way back. So I got out, scouted a good spot, told my gf get out in case it flips, put it in low and gunned it up a pretty technical hill climb. ONLY after that did we think to film it. Would have been great footage but it was too serious at the time. My gf said she thought if she pulled a camera out I would have flipped out on her. I learned that in the dessert when things go bad it can turn into life or death pretty quick out there. Would have loved that video footage though.

That stuck van. reminded me that these full size vans. has the engine in the same placement design as you are doing with the tow truck. engine between the seats. with the dog house cover to get to the engine itself. I was hoping that you would go for to drop box ( transfer case) design. so the drive shaft are in a straight line. but I see there no clearance between the engine/transmission and the sked plate. have fun building. 😊. I'll watch to see how you do the front drive shaft😂

But then this was way back in the 60's and 70's. The one we used was from a wrecked Army Ambulance from the Korean War. We also went from a V-8 to a Six Cylinder and had twice the lugging power in Low compound Grandma Gear.

I feel like this last year or so Matt has gotten more social and came out of his shell 🐚 a little more, he talks a lot more, and I was thinking right before he said it , I wonder if the MORRVAIR has AC ? I love that Rig , it's really the greatest vehicle in the Galaxy! I get sad when it's not the MORRVAIR and it's the stupid XJ that I have to look at in my driveway everyday! I could stare at the MORRVAIR forever, it's just so freaking awesome!

My first trip to samd hallow I saw 4-5 people stuck. My family in the truck asked if I was gonna help. I said " nope. No air compressor to refill the tires and no rope... I'm smart enough to stay out of there and not get stuck" ha ha

Go Get 'em Lizzy, you can do it! It could be one tug, and Matt was Right! And the Apprentice knows. Scottish accent? The RAZR no problemo! Great video coverage as per usual.

I haven’t commented yet on your channel and videos. Truth is I don’t usually comment on anything, unless its exceptional. Your videos, and the entire crew, are a perfect blend. I don’t even like off road videos. I just like the challenges you face and how you tackle them. The cast of characters is like the Beverly hillbillies. Not because you all look backward and ( unejikated ). But because all of you are so perfect for the roles you play, or as in you’re case, as you all really are. Its wonderful. I look forward to seeing your next video. Cheers.

First time I've seen MORR compared to the Beverly Hillbillies. The main difference is that this is real life, and that makes it better than a TV show. Exceptional is the best word for it 👍
