Heavy rain landing at Corfu Airport with exit problems (4K)

Bad weather Airbus A320 landing with turbulent approach, heavy rain landing and problems getting off after reaching the parking position.
It was not possible to leave the plane because the stormy rain made it impossible to get off. There were no stairs and no bus. All passengers had to return to their seats and wait for the heavy rain to stop.
Unfortunately, I don't have any video footage of the extremely heavy rain because I was already standing in the aisle to get out and the camera had already been dismantled.
It is actually almost impossible to take good window shots from a plane when the windows are heavily rained on.
I was all the more surprised that my new GoPro Hero 11 black with the latest focus technology had no problems with this. The water on the window, the wings and also the landscape in the background were surprisingly sharp.
I had actually expected a good weather landing through the beautiful bay with the Vlachera monastery, but these unusual shots also satisfied me.

Dieser Purser ist ein ex-Air Berlin Mitarbeiter. Wir haben ihn 2009 auf unserem Rundflug mit einer Boeing 737-800 vom bzw. zum Flughafen Münster/Osnabrück im Rahmen eines dortigen Flughafenfest an Bord gehabt.

Yesterday in Corfu was sunny with some clouds and temperature reaching 36° C. This must have been filmed during May which we had some rainy days

Thank you for your comment and information with currently 36 degrees at Corfu. I am currently in Spain and the 28 degrees here are warm enough for me. The video with the landing was taken on April 21st, 2024 and it rained a lot. After that, however, it was very nice for 9 days to make good airplane videos. Here is the result of one day with a video with almost 500,000 views.

Schönes Video. Schade nur, dass es so geregnet hat. War 2022 auf Corfu und hab da auch das ein oder andere Video gemacht.😊

Ja Korfu hat wirklich einen tollen Flughafen, wo man die Flugzeuge ganz aus der Nähe und aus mehreren Perspektiven super aufnehmen kann. Mit dem Regen das war wirklich Pech. Ich bin davon ausgegangen, dass wir am Vlachera Kloster vorbei landen und habe bewusst einen Sitzplatz auf der rechten Seite gebucht. Bin aber trotzdem mit den außergewöhnlichen Regenaufnahmen zufrieden. Beim nächsten Mal klappt es hoffentlich. LG HvdH
