...I landed there in October 1992. There was no asphalt yet, next to the runway some yaks were eating peacefully and there was also a small crashed plane on the edges that Bruce Chatwin wrote about in one of his books...

I have been on a small propeller plane, landed safely with a whole lot of judder. Departed in a Helicopter. I'll NEVER want to do it again. That day I said all my prayers like a Litany of prayers, for God to keep my soul safe. Hats off to these brave pilots. Takes real SKILL & EXPERIENCE to land & take off.❤❤❤❤
