Enjoy the whole approach from vectoring to visual manoeuvring to line up with the runway, landing and taxi to the apron, filmed from the cockpit and the First Officer's viewpoint. Just like in St Maarten (or Skiathos, with the airplanes flying low over the beach), the approach takes us close to terrain on the left and right side, requiring care when flying manually for landing, yet offering a spectacular view.

Landing the other way on Runway 16 is more interesting. I’ve done it both ways several times in a Gulfstream GIV.

I borrowed a supercomputer from NASA.
Wondering why at 1:25 we hear a '100' altitude call-out immediately followed by '1000' ? Perfectly placed touch down and seems to be coming in a bit hot? I'm assuming a shorter than ideal runway? Who was flying? Were you FO? Ionian is my ancestral home! As beautiful as ever.

"+ 100" means 100 ft to go until minimum (decision altitude for the approach, since this one is an RNAV it is pretty high), "1000" means 1000 ft above airport level, a check altitude where the approach should be stabilized latest and the before landing checklist completed for most operators

doubleBdasher answered your question perfectly :) We were not hot, but perfectly on speed and path and touched down in the correct zone, Captain was Pilot Flying and I got to enjoy the view. Not the shortest runway in the world, but definitely not the smoothest!
