I remember flying into and out of Skiathos about 25 years ago. The runway was SO short that planes couldn't take off with a full fuel load and had to land at another airport 20 minutes later to refuel. This airport was designed for military jets and not tourist planes.

Its so impressive the fact that the aircraft approaches for landing and passes by so low at 200 mph (320 kph) and that’s barely 1/3 of it’s top speed when it flies full trust.

@@5950ziel well a Pilot told me that a aircraft lands between 140-170 knots, so do the math.. 1 knot = 1,85 km

did that in 2018...back there again for more this year (2021),only this time from the comfort of the milos taverna/restaurant.
