Crop shortages equals food shortages for livestock and humans. And the farmers know how to survive. Don’t know that I can say that for the majority of the mouths they feed.

This reminds me when my daughter bought me a ticket to come see her in Aberdeen SD. 19 years ago. The pilot went low so we could see the destruction of the rains, it looked like a gigantic quilt! Beautiful blue water outlined by trees on four sides covered such a vast area. I had heard about all the rain that got dumped in SD, but I was not prepared to see the destruction from up above, that’s a whole new level of understanding of what we cannot control. ❤

It cranked right up, I don’t think I’ve seen my husband that happy in a long time. The tractor belonged to his grandfather which dearly loved. I’m going to buy him a new seat for it and a canopy. If you guys know a good 3 party parts place for John Deeres please let me know.
