This just goes to show that creative censorship can lead to a funnier result (I know it wasn’t actually him being censored but same concept applies) The way the characters die in comical ways instead of just exploding into chunks is way funnier Also Demoman throwing the gun instead of firing it is the funniest joke in all of humanity

Many scenes are funnier in the original imo. Like, when Medic kisses Heavy to revive him, in the original is a mix of a slow Heavy laugh + the Valve startup fx until he explodes and is gibbed. The family-friendly version is him saying "Heavy is back! -uh, nevermind." which is not funny And Engi's "POW! You are dead!" at the start flows better than the "Amma going to kill ya! *gunshot*"
