Heavy Cruiser Prinz Eugen 1/350 1945 USS Ver - Full Build

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The ship was handed over to the United States for further use as war booty after the German surrender in 1945. Afterward, the ship operated very differently from the American warships. So much so that it was always necessary to use a large number of German sailors. That was why the US Navy decided to put her on Operation Crossroads. Which was the Bikini Island nuclear test. She remained unsinkable in the face of two nuclear bombs. Despite this outcome, the US Navy still learned many valuable experiences from her designs.
For this build, I have chosen to depict Prinz Eugen as she was serving in the US Navy in 1945.
I used 1:350 Prinz Eugen and Bismarck(2020ver, second hand unfinished) from the Trumpeter Company. Due to the age of Eugen's production. So many details are missing and wrong. So the Bismarck kit can just make up for this shortcoming. This build also introduced a large number of etched pieces and brass gun barrels.
This re-release video. I optimize montage, text commentary, and music. So that it can have a better viewing experience. For the last almost three months. I have been under tremendous pressure. This has led to a recent decline in video quality. I sincerely hope viewers here will forgive me. In the meantime, I will ensure that all future videos are posted in high quality.

It's sad because this is the only German capital ship that survived the war. Rather than thinking ahead and saving it for the sake of history, we literally decided to just nuke it instead. It would have been so cool in an alternate history we could visit the Prinz Eugen to this day.

Prince Eugen's sunk place is very shallow. You can go see her now too. Just be prepared with some diving equipment and a dive guide. Also, sometimes I was thinking. Did we really won World War II. Look at so much suffering in Eastern Europe, Asia, North Africa after the war...These sufferings have not ended until today. These sufferings spread throughout the world as people indulged in the paralysis brought about by the so-called victory.

Notable warships that accompanied were the Saratoga and the Nagato.

In fact, I have also considered making a 1:350 Yamato equipped with Type22 Modifier 4 electric detectors, Bofors 40mm anti-aircraft guns, and self-designed camouflage.

This ship was turned over to the U.S. Navy after she was taken by the Royal Navy from the Germans. The Navy then designated her as U.S.S. Prinz Eugen. Later she was used in atomic bomb testing in 1946. So this model is accurate.

@@johnbockelie3899 Except in real life, her 1945's version doesn't use the 37mm dual AA gun anymore, yet the model in the video has it. So this model is historically inaccurate.
