This is being crazy in a calming matter.

It's absolutely amazing how these people can become cult leaders. I mean you can ignore ugly but his unblinking stare. He just looks off.

I think the craziest part about this is somehow he actually convinced himself that what he was doing was the right thing. It wasn't some elaborate plan to get 38 other people to kill themselves, he joined them, which shows he genuinely believed that he was correct in all that he was saying.
