Heatwave hike - 35km of failing to escape the blistering heat
In an attempt to escape the city heat in the middle of a heatwave, I headed for the woods for a couple of days. Turns out it was just as hot over there. 🥵 (About 36°C and no breeze)
The hike was about 35km in the Viroinval/Couvin region, from Fondry des Chiens → Barrage du Ry de Rome → Regnièssart → Oignies → and back.

De kracht van je videos Lennart is, behalve dat ze van topkwaliteit zijn, ze bovendien authenticiteit uitstralen. Het zijn geen gemaakte stories zoals we er zovele kunnen vinden maar interessante en reële situaties. Op die manier zijn ze een verademing. Bedankt daarvoor!
I love the way you use backlight 🙂 I must admit that before "finding" your YT channel, my view of the Belgian nature was very limited. Thank you very much for presenting the beautiful green parts of your country! You cooled yourself by wearing a wet cap. I have liked very much that way of cooling. Also here in Finland we have had very hot days during this summer. I have put a dripping wet headband on me, especially when running in agility competitions on a sand field. My canine team-mate doesn't mind to be splashed with water on her stomach before our run.
