After watching enough of these videos, I would say one of the biggest dangers an operator could face would be holding onto a piece of scrap that is heavy enough to topple the excavator.

This is a good one, John. Lots of action. We've seen pieces of conveyor above the coal bins a number of time. I suppose it was to deliver the coal to all the bins. There must have been an elevator of some type to get the coal up to the conveyor. Maybe in the front section we can't see yet? Or the part they removed to free the front wall?

That's been one tough old building from start to finish. Shame they couldn't re-purpose it but I guess removing the infrastructure too costly. My favourite to date. Thanks JZW.

I was just wondering here more than anything, but in ways wouldn't it be more effective to use a hammer attachment because i know thickness can differ when it comes to mills coal plants etc in some of those sections to bring down ? or would that be considered it be unsafe because of uncertainty or control just curious.

I agree, one of the best for pure destruction.

i can only imagine what happened before this video. hi i am here for the operator position. no sir, i have no idea how to use that tractor thing. no sir i have no idea how to demolish a building. what was that again sir, there was a bird on the window sill. yes sir i do have a.d.d. well if you are not gonna hire me, can i rent that machine, i am sure that if i jerk the head around enough and randomly open and close the jaws, at some point i am sure i will manage to cut something. how long do i want to rent the machine ? well it's a big building, so like 2 - 2.5 years
