HEARTWARMING Surprise for Filipino Immigrant Family | George to the Rescue
On this episode of ‘George to the Rescue’: a stunning bedroom, living room, bedroom, and kitchen makeover for a hardworking nurse and his loving immigrant family who sacrificed everything to move to the United States from the Philippines in order to pursue the American dream. And thanks to an extraordinary renovation - courtesy of interior design team Curated Nest, SLS Greenwich Construction, Palette Pro, 3M and more talented and kind-hearted contributors - the Velasco's dream of having a place to call home in this new and unfamiliar country is now a wonderful reality.

Hi everyone! This is Marie Velasco. In behalf of my husband Jayvee and our 2 sons, we thank everyone who's been part of this project. Words are not enough to express how grateful we are to receive this blessing. It was a very tough decision to move and leave our families and friends behind, but we have to do what we need to for our future especially for the 2 boys. It was scary but we didn't expect that there are still people out there who will come together to help others. They are our Angels without wings. God moves in mysterious ways. We are living testaments that He answers prayers at the right time and unexpected ways. Thank you for welcoming us to America. The land of endless opportunities and where dreams come true. We will always be grateful. Now we can say that we dream, we worked hard and we achieved! ❤❤❤❤

I used to work with a few Philippnuo nurses and they are the most hardest working and the nicest people I’ve have had ever met. They often send money back to their parents in the Philippines. They are crucial to our health care system. God Bless this family.🙏

What a beautiful rescue! To make their home to reflect their home country, that was priceless. And now the boys can have their own space and the parents their privacy. Then to top it off, to hear that they have become American citizens! I think their dreams are complete now. 😊
