Yeah me too I actually wanted Ruthie to be the one who is pregnant for Martin and not Meredith then they could have ended up together the writers could have done that but they always screw up a really great ship or couple😢😢😢

I grow up w/ this show, first I fell in love w/ both of Martin and Tyler Hoechlin now, I'm watching Teen Wolf and I'm just realising that i am still in love with Tyler, god ! He is a such good actor !!!

I remember there’s another episode where Ruthie dreams Martin came back and starts a relationship with her. She had such a hard time getting over him. 😔

This part makes my heart break EVERY time!!! I grew up w/this show!!!

Despite the fact that this has been deemed bad acting by a lot of people, I think it’s actually pretty realistic. I remember all too well the pain of unrequited love. To be honest, this scene still makes me cry! 😢

Tyler Hoechlin's acting is amazing, I hope someday when I get older, I hope I can work with him. *Fingers crossed*

this has actually happened to me. =[ I want to cry just thinking about it.

This scene moves me each time.I once acted like Ruthie with a man or almost like her. She is fantastic in this scene and so sad that i feel sorry for her.She is madly in love with Martin and she trusted him and he kept his secrets. She feels betrayed and her reaction is normal .She hates the guy SHE LOVES BUT CANNOT HAVE. Love hurts sometimes.

In my opinion Ruthie should've made Martin feel valued and important to her in this scene but I see where you're coming from with your comment though.

she is an amazing actress

Grew up on this show, taught me that hearts are precious things. Remember that kids, because there is no good shit on TV anymore that teaches you life is REAL and not always a fairy tale

they did sort of go out at the last season when she broke up with TBone. But then she had to choose and she chose TBone. They never even showed any of her dating Martin though. It was just said they were dating. It never showed them kissing or anything even though they said they had. I wish they would have shown it and i wish she would have chosen him over TBone

Plus the CW cancelled Veronica Mars ( or possibly Everwood) i forget which so this could have a final season.

This episode is so sad! I love that Martin tries to comfort Ruthie, it's such a sweet hug, typical TV-scene (I guess)but I don't care :P it's still soooo sweet.

I do wish martin and ruthie got together.

As much as I’ve always hated this story line for Martin’s character, I do love this scene. That moment when he just hugs her and admitting that he hates himself…ugh it get me every time!

Mackenzie is gorgeous now

This scene is completely heartbreaking...and incredibly well done!! Mackenzie is fantastic in the scene...definitely one of her best performances! There may be hope for her as an actress yet. And, Tyler is always Great! Thanks.

What I never understood at all about Martin , and Ruthie‘s relationship on 7th heaven was why did they make Ruthie like him in a dating way for years, and martin never like her in a dating way , and then all the sudden the last season of the series they finally make martin like her , and want to date her but she has a boyfriend T-bone then . why ? ! ! I really would’ve liked to see Martin, and ruthie get together in the end but they didn’t that sucked . I like them together more than I liked her with T-bone . Don’t get me wrong T-bone is a nice person , and all but I didn’t like him with Ruthie for dating . I still liked Ruthie with Martin better always have always will since Martin came on 7th heaven .

@ScaredMoon sometimes its the actor themselves that rewrite the script and the editors decide not to fix it.

I love this show but Ruthie was doing too much in this scene & she was arrogant as heck. As for the series itself it was the same thing over & over. They pushed marriage & sex so much that all of the children looked thirsty & desperate wanting to marry practically everyone they were with. They had a few friends but only when they were much younger and even then they fell hard for everyone they went out with. Matt secretly married a woman the day after he met her, Mary married a stranger, Lucy was an obsessive, jealous, unstable crybaby, Simon was about to marry Rose even though he knew she wasn't the one, Ruthie met T-bone & immediately fell in love & had his name tatted on her back before really getting to know him.

@@juanitamorgan5475 sort of yeah, I mean he had to tell Meredith what was going on cause she deserved to know and it’s not like he meant to hurt her. Martin had no idea that he would become a father (supposedly) by having a one night stand with a college student. We knew Sandy was in love with Simon as they even slept together before she met Martin and before he met Rose. I just wished they’d show a DNA test cause I really believed that Simon was the father.
