HEART WithoutYou Live1977
This show was right at the peak of Heart, when we were all aligned on our mission, best friends, and living the dream. Such endearing and enduring memories!

The early Heart years were absolutely the finest, first heard Heart in 76, Magic Man came on radio, been hooked ever since. Am now 69 and still listening.
Best female rock singer ever.
17 years old, living near Annapolis, MD at this time. My buddies all preferred Nancy (blonde and plays guitar!) This show solidified my case for Ann.
No comment!❤❤❤
Amazing band. Just the way I remember with Ann's voice sending shivers up my spine. Takes me back to simpler times. Not sure how my friends and I survived, but here we are! Kudos to Heart and a big thanks for bringing these golden nuggets to us. rOcK oN.
I love Ann so much!
I could watch Ann sing all day. And have.
This performance by Heart is just perfect and beautiful! ❤
Damn I really wish the original band could get back together.

That was a great era but they are all different people now that have been doing different things for 40 years. I don't think you can re-create something like that, but just enjoy the great recordings from that period. As much as I loved the music from that period it was quite obvious by Private Audition that incarnation had run it's course.

me too! So much so I'm praying for it
Ann sings with such passion with the power of the band supporting her beautifully. One of my favourite Heart performances.
God Ann is incredibly beautiful and talented
Thanks for posting this Roger..my oh my the 70s what an awesome era..the music, the mellowness, the Magic.
Roger Fisher is soon underated because of the break up had the band stayed together and continued in their hard rock roots Roger Fisher would have been iconic, the average listener has no idea that he is the Manon guitar and the writer of all great hard rocking heart songs.
It's been years since I heard this! So awesome!
Thank You for all thr wonderful memories ❤️ 🙏 Aquarius Summer Sunday 77 New Years Eve 78/9 Many, many shows ending with one very warm afternoon at Marymoore Park. Thank You ...

Still love this one!! ❤
Wow. Had not seen this live before - a true favorite - amazing performance !!
I love Ann
Roger, it’s been a super intense week, an emotional week in a messed up pandemic 2021 world. It was so wise to meter out the uploads over a week. One whole concert upload would have been sensory overload. Thank you and Michael so much. Look forward to BROS and the DOTArcher. ❤️
I remember this tear jerker from back then. She does a good version! Not my favorite but it’s good to hear this anyway, Thanks! 🎸👏🏻😎
Yes! We enjoyed the show! Wonderous!
It looks like the entire concert has been posted except for Sylvan Song/Dream of the Archer. And we wait.

@@FisherBrosandtheHumanTribe That is great news! I am ready for that book!
Fantastic, would love to see the complete show .
A guy that I think could have made a great cover of this song is Eric Carmen. Just slightly older than Roger and man could he belt out a ballad like this.
Amazing !!! There were so special for Heart Month.... thank you so much !!!
Lovely! I'm assuming this is the last upload from this particular concert. I wasn't alive in the 70s so this was such a gift for us fans who missed out on the golden age of Heart. Thank you so much Roger

You're most welcome, Saba. It's been a labor of love. Better audio and video to come with our book, BROS.
I've come to a revelation that's not so much a revelation as it is an observation. That is, you no longer know any band members. Not that there are "bands" anymore that even make it mainstream. But, there was a time when you knew every member of a band, like Heart, and they were legends that could be identified with to this day. Now, "music" has zero identity, other than the "performer" who somehow is appointed to stardom either through looks, connections, or maybe luck. It's a sad state of music. But....I do believe that actual talent is still there. It's just the talent is more local, in less prominent media forms and maybe smaller venues. I think there's good in that. Kinda nice to know musicians and singers on a more local, intimate level. Back to the roots.
A little history to put this song in perspective for the Heart fans that were not around in the 70's. This song hit the radio's in 1971. Most cars only had AM radios and no air conditioning! We rolled the windows down to stay cool and cranked the radio even louder to blast our favorites over the sound of the wind as we flew down the highway. This was a big song in 71 and the guy won a grammy that year for singing it. He did not write it but it will forever be his song. Here we are 6 years later and Heart is doing a cover of this song. I'm sure they also remember blasting it out of their car radios and singing along. It was still a popular radio song even in 1977. Songs seemed to stay on the radio's longer back then. Most new cars by that time came with power steering and brakes and you could get air conditioning as options. But used cars of that era (from the late 50s and early 60s) had the 255/455 air conditioning model you referenced. 2/4 windows rolled down at 55mph. And for the AM (mono/dial) radio you had the one speaker in the center of the dash. Even when FM (AM/FM/push button) came out it was about another ten years before the transmission signal included stereo. The reason songs stayed on the radio longer back then.....was that's all there was....radios. There were no tape decks or CD players in the older cars. I don't think 8-track tape decks showed up until 69-70. Cassettes mid 70s. Today radio listeners are as common as newspaper readers.... As far as Heart's cover of this song.....it sucks. Their cover of Stairway to Heaven when Robert, John, and Jimmy aka Led Zeppelin were inducted into the R&RHOF was better. And that's saying a lot cause I'm a huge Heart fan. At a Greensboro concert I jumped down from the second tier (about 12'-14' drop) to get closer to the stage.

Thank you.
Thanks for this💘💘💘💘
PLEASE post an entire show from the Fisher-era of Heart! Every band is existence has multitudes of shows on KZread now.. BUT.. There are only 2 complete shows of my favorite band with my favorite guitarist... There are several (or more) "post-Fisher" Heart shows on KZread... You can even use an alias like Pat Travers does for his many shows on here... As a rabid fan... PLEASE consider!
Another!!?? I can't keep up!!

It is because of Rogers influence that they were often compared to zepplin

@AMMSunday Peter Ham and Tommy Evans.of Badfinger wrote it but was a hit of course by Nillson. Badfingers manager stole all their royalties, and Peter committed suicide at age 27 in 1975. Tommy committed suicide in 1983. Very sad story ....
