I'm 79 and I've been a HFpEF PH patient at the University of Utah since 2016. I have been admitted very recently for an injury. I have had CMP panels regularly as part of my regular care. I have low albumin quite consistently and am told to eat more protein when I average about 35 mg per meal. I will be learning about the dash diet for ethical reasons. I have a normal EGFR and every evidence of volume overload. I just had a CT angiogram that is clean. I'm not diabetic. I am very overweight, (I hate the O word!) I take torsemide and nothing else. In all these years I have not once had a urine test done. Besides, even if something like an SLGT inhibitor worked, persons on Medicare, (or worse an Advantage Plan) could not afford them. The insurance companies apparently can't even afford a simple urine test! Maybe I can get a test kit on Amazon and figure this out for myself? Yes, ticked consumer!

Could we see this as ass KeFPEF, kidney failure with preserved « ejection fraction » in early stages?
