@@markgray6982 I saw the 78 tour and most of the tours since then. No, it wasn't that far from 70s Heart, but anyone thinking Ann is going to sound at 73 like she did at 30 is naive. The biggest difference between this and 70s Heart is Ann's voice is 40 years older and doesn't nail the high notes as well; otherwise it sounds like they always have. One other more minor difference is that in 78 Nancy played an acoustic on Barracuda which we could hear in certain spots and now they clearly don't have an acoustic playing along.

One thing about Heart is they'd never do that. Even back in the day when they'd appear on shows where bands were told to lip sync Ann generally refused; they'd use an instrumental backing track to whatever song but Ann would sing live. I think the only time I ever saw them truly lip sync was on ToTP, but aside from that Ann usually sang live even if the band had to fake it.
I've seen Heart 34 times since 1977. I was 15 the first time I ever heard them on my parent's Magnavox stereo console when Crazy On You was released. It sounded so awesome cranked up loud! The Wilson sisters have always rocked with a cool, unique sound!

I was too young to see them during the Dog and Butterfly tour, but I've heard (and seen on video) that was the band's absolute best tour. The Largo 1978 concert on KZread is pretty incredible. Of their 80s/90s big tours I thought the Bad Animals tour in 87 was the best they sounded. Wasn't crazy about their sound mix on the 1985, 1990, or 1994 tours but 1987 they got rid of some of the polish and sounded really heavy and distorted.
