In the 80s with the departure of Roger, Leese took over Fisher's part. And Nancy after Leese left. There are currently so many guitars because Ann wants her band Tripsitters as Heart, with Nancy and her guitarist Ryan Waters (Nancy wanted to have a well-known musician with her). It's not that they need so many guitars, but that Ann didn't want to give in.
