not just range but amazing control. She never loses it, in spite of going all out with the belting, after all these years. Young singers should watch and learn.

Ann Wilson is arguably the most underrated vocalist in rock history. She does not get the credit she rightfully deserves. She's literally one of the greatest of all time.

Her vocals are always spot on. Hearing her sing live is to experience goosebumps.

I’ve been a fan of Heart since the ‘70’s and to this day. Ann has an amazingly powerful, beautiful voice that cannot be duplicated. One of the greatest female singers of all time, and I’ve heard a lot of them in my seven decades. Together with Nancy’s lovely voice and awesome guitar work, they are an iconic duo.

Heart is one band that absolutely got better with age, amazing .

Nobody sings like Ann. ❤

When I was a kid, I thought this was sang by the guys. I didn't know that girls would sing that new metal song. When I found out I felt in love with Ann. Today I'm married with children but Ann has a special place in my HEART!

Gary VanDecar well while no one can deny she has an incredible voice and is one of the most recognizable rock singers, I don’t think you could say she has THE MOST distinctive voice in rock. I don’t know who would get that title but you could make a good case for any number of different singers.

Ann is the Queen of Rock. Amazing voice.

Till now... no one be able to cover "Alone" better than Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson.

Very few singers make the hair on my arms stand up. Ann does it everytime especially with this version of Alone. My opinion, she is the best female rock vocalist ever.

One of the most beautiful songs ever written. All these years when I sit and really listen to it, it still brings tears to my eyes.

They indeed did break the mold when they gave ann her amazing voice.

Even acoustic, Ann Wson proven a it yet again. The absolute best woman rock singer of all time.

I've known Heart as a band and this song since forever in my 30 years of existence (as of this writing) but I've never really cared or been curious to search for their live concerts (because I already think their studio recordings are perfect as is) until I was listening to Alone today and thinking if they had acoustic version of it. Then I found this video. I almost cried at the adlib at 2:34. It's just beautiful. I know there are a lot of singers at that age that can still slay it but Ann's singing here is just as beautiful as she was in her prime.

I've always had a serious crush on Ann Wilson. Her voice gives me chills. That one note - you know the one I'm talking about ... wow!

Ann's voice could never be duplicated. They broke the mold to her voice, and nobody can hit her custom made notes. She's also a superb composer to very few of her songs. Heart - Alone You don't know how long I've wanted to touch your lips and hold you so tight...You don't know how I've waited to tell you tonight...But the secret is still unknown...ALONE...

I am a black woman 63 years older now and heart has always gotten through situation and only had the honor of expériencing them once but Ann your voice and your humbleness is all from the Universe😅

The harmonies in the version get me every time I listen

In the late 70s and early 80s, Heart was one of my favorite 8-tapes. We didn't know 8-tapes were so poor quality until cds came along. Sold all my cherished 8-tracks all a yard sale for nearly nothing. Wish I had kept them. Pure Gold.....memories.

Saw Heart for the first time in 1978, have loved them to death since! ...and to think, some guys still concentrate their idiotic comments on her weight issues! Morons, they seem to plague the earth!
