The thing that this amp made me realise is how good Creambacks are. Been watching demos of those speakers non-stop for a few days now.
This dude’s a legit gunslinger. He knows how to put on the greasy.
Great Marshall sound and performance. Congratulations and thanks for share.
The Sound from these Marshall Amps when it breaks from Clean to overdrive ist simply The best on this Planet! AMAZING tone! 😊
Very cool look, but still diggin my lil SV20.
I don’t have the JTM Studio but I have the Studio Vintage with the 2x12 and 1x12 and in both cabs I replaced those horrible V-Type speakers with Creambacks a few years ago. So awesome that your stocking the new JTM Studio with the Creambacks

Im running an Origin 20H thru a 212 slant. Im gonna swap the speakers out with creambacks.
Супер!
Great sounds but not sure about PCB mounted valves and controls, can't see these amps holding out for decades like my Marshall 50w master volume mk 2 combos tho.
Great. Now i gotta save for a new amp. Why marshall? I just bought the sv20h. And now you come out with the jtm45 version? Well, at least i got something to look forward to and pept up my spirits after 3 weeks away from work being sick.
Beside the 10 inch speaker , what's the difference between this one and the studio vintage ?thnx
To each their own. Personally, I dig these amps. I understand the extra cost for U.S. buyers and I know. that the same price hike happens going the other way across the Atlantic with U.S. made goods.
Sounds more clean headroom and less gain verses my sv20.
That amp has a love affair with that Strat 😮

Im not a huge strat fan, but yeah, there are moments when the strat produces fantastic sound and I smile. He did that here.
I said the same thing for the Studio Vintage: if you didn't charge double in the US I would buy one this instant. I bet a lot of us would. Oh well.

To me, they're worth every penny. I own all three except the ST20 which will be in the stable soon enough. If you can afford it, I highly recommend. Or wait it out and snap one up in the used market for under $1000. I did that on my Studio JMP & Jubilee. But, I guess if you just can't afford one or they're not worth it to you, that's a different story.
Sounds awesome. Please make Marshalls affordable in the US again :( The disparity between UK pricing and US pricing makes them a hard sell IMO.

Sounds incredible.
But… I don’t get it. I hate Marshall. Why does this sound so damn good?! I’m a boutique Fender/Dumble type of snob that look down on Marshall people. I’m so confused. And the Andertons demo sounded so good too. The cleans sound anazing. How tf am I gonna resist this amp?!

@@tubingforever LOL! Even within the Marshall circle, there are preferences. For me, I always liked the JTM45s more than the Plexis or whatnot, hence why it is such a shame that they have discontinued the Vintage Modern. Love mine
Just saw one of those cabs yesterday for $699 US new
The rig is a tone beast. The more creambacks I hear, the more I want some.
Sounds a tad woofy in some clips. Mic placement a bit off maybe? I always prefer room mics when trying to work out what an amp will sound like when you actually get it home.
Now what is stopping you from getting this tone from a few pairs of KT-88s? 🤘

Isn't this the same amphead as a Marshall JTM-45 Plexi, just with a different look? If not, what are the differences between the two plexi amps? If you, or anybody watching this video is feeling adventurous, and wanting to experiment with a different amp or amps, demo or buy yourself a Friedman Twin Sister Amphead. Like a Marshall JTM-45 amp, on steroids, with more tonal options. Same thing goes for their Dirty Shirley amphead....Also like a JTM-45 Plexi, but Dirty Shirley is one channel. Twin Sister is two channels of the same, so you can set them differently tonewise, along with a few very handy tonal options, that give you options for better tone than the original Marshall JTM-45 amphead. Friedman Amps are more expensive than Marshall, but they're worth the more costly price that they charge, because they're much more reliable, built with much higher quality components, have much better tonal options, have lifetime warranties, and 1000x better and more reliable customer service. Even though I love Marshall too, and own a few different Marshall Amps, Friedman Amps are on a much higher level of quality, therefore, making their higher price charged worth it. Dave Friedman is a Tone God, and knows what people like to hear. Metropoulos Amps are also on par with Friedmans, tonal option wise, internal component wise, much more reliable and with much higher quality components, with also having a Lifetime Warranty, and 1000x better customer service. George Metropoulos is also a Tone God and Genius, knowing what guitar players love to hear. Imagine running across a rare Marshall Plexi Amp, that has the best ultimate tone that anybody could hope to find and own....Well, with Friedman and Metropoulos Modded Plexi Amps, the quality is always guaranteed to be consistent in each one of their amps, regardless of which ones you by. That same claim, can't honestly be made by any guitar player that plays Marshall Amps, not to mention that every Friedman and Metropoulos Modded Plexi Amp, are comparable to that rare holy grail found Marshall Amp, with the tone of every guitar player's dream.

Way to much speaker for this rig. All the demos have sounded flubby. A JTM sings with jangle and creme. This amp does not with my ear with these speakers.
Not a good sounding amp.
I have heard every demo of this amp and I have to say I haven't been inspired by the tone at all by any, in fact I think the anniversary1 watt off- set sounds better than this in every respect.....to my ears this amp sounds dull and lifeless, void of any dynamics whatsoever......JMO
