The Kwikset Powerbolt 2 comes with a default User Code-1234. This code can be used to unlock your door from the outside. Unfortunately, some owners are not aware of this-especially those that acquired a pre-owned lock.
For security reasons, it's recommended that you delete the default User Code.
I've demonstrated how to delete the default User Code-1234 (4-digit code) on a Kwikset Powerbolt 2-to prevent unauthorized entry.
