How to Change Code on Kwikset SmartCode 909
The Kwikset SmartCode 909 allows you to add 8 User Codes, and you can change them at any time. However, you need to note the position of each code (between 1-8) to change it.
If you have a pre-owned Kwikset SmartCode 909 without the user manual, changing a code might be tricky as you probably don't know the position of the code.
In this video, you'll learn how to change a Code on your Kwikset SmartCode 909 whether you know the position of the code or not.
The process includes resetting the lock to remove all existing codes, then program new User Codes.
And if you own the Kwikset SmartCode 910, you can also use this method to remove all existing codes and add new codes.

Hi there, The steps in the video include a factory reset. So it's going to wipe out all the codes once the reset is successfully completed. Try to watch from the beginning and follow the instructions carefully.
