Heads of the Ptolemies in the Louvre...
The Ptolemies were a dynasty of Macedonian Greek rulers who reigned over Egypt from the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BC until the Roman conquest of the country in 30 BC. The dynasty was founded by Ptolemy I Soter (first statue head from the left), one of Alexander's generals and ended with Cleopatra VII.
These are statue heads are of several members of the Ptolemaic Dynasty.
