    I know you probably hear this all the time but you're freaking incredible and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the videos and information you provide. I've been able to successfully add a second income with your process and it's just amazing. Ive yet to come across a problem with headlights that you dont already have a video on. I just want to say thank you and keep doing what you're doing.

    Thank You...I learned soo much from this video. When I tried doing my first restoration a few years ago I had no idea what I was doing. I was too scare to take off any material thinking I would leave permanant scratches. Now I know you have to grind the $hit out of that top layer off with a p400 and p500 first without water. Then slowing start polishing and gradually start removing the scratches that were made from the abrasive pads. Again thank you soo much for this video. 👍

    Remind me of my uncle with all the little old school snippets and comments. Been doing my own headlight restoration and I have a similair process with meguires headlight coating. You have some good tips I didn't think of. Glass IMO are the best headlights as they never fade but unfortunately its glass

    Perfect as always.I have one question.I know that the ceramic coats have a thickness around 0,5 microns when aplyied.Have you ever measured the thickness of the meguiars spray coat? Im sure that is more especially with your heavy coat but how mutch?

  • @theheadlightrestorationpro

    @theheadlightrestorationpro

    3 ай бұрын

    No I don't have the equipment to measure that and most people won't understand the laboratory to measure something that small blood from touch and feel it's got to be like 10 times more with my method if not more than that.. ceramic dries thin as thin can get probably even thinner than wax... When you're using an actual coating especially in the matter that I use it one heavy coat it's actually very thick..

    I just started implementing your system and using the products you recommend. I notice the longest part for me is masking off around the lights and using an old credit card. Is there a faster way? Thank you for all your videos and the fine work you do

  • @theheadlightrestorationpro

    @theheadlightrestorationpro

    3 ай бұрын

    Well there's no really any faster way to do it you just have to get used to doing it and keep testing yourself with different ways to do it which work for you which make it faster it's a pain in the ass and sometimes I hate doing it cuz I want to get to the headlight but it is probably the most important thing... I have about two or three videos that have to do with taping off and I'll show you the proper way to do so and believe it or not you can actually get pretty fast at it..... It typically takes me about 5 minutes of light to tap off even the hard ones...👍🏽🤓

    Perfect. I have upped my game thanks to your advice. Thanks. Question: would you suggest, or have you ever used, a 1000 trizac between the 800 and 3000? 🇨🇦

  • @theheadlightrestorationpro

    @theheadlightrestorationpro

    3 ай бұрын

    Yes I have it's almost absolutely useless... The only thing it would do is help your 3,000 work less but you would be paying out the ass this way.. this method is the most cost-effective method where if you buy them bulk it'll cost you less than a McDonald's cheeseburger to do a whole other restoration...

    Question: If you're sanding with 800 and you notice scratches in one area, you drop down to 500, or even 320 if 500 didn't get them, and then work your way back up to 800, 3000, and then polish, correct?
