Headed for the Far North | Assynt Adventures in the Campervan

The weather was forecast to be moving North to South so we headed a good bit up the North Coast 500 to find a rather nice view with the campervan and a mountain hike which promised even nice views.....

Murray, I just want to thank you so much for the amazing content. It must take you a while to capture and edit. But every video you have made I really appreciate. Scotland was a second home for alot of years, coming up to do various hikes. I don't get time now, but I can't help but smile when watching your content. Once again thank you.

Assynt may not have the biggest mountains, but they sure are dramatic and beautiful! Great to see you get out with your son again Murray, it must be lovely to share the climbs with him, and have him quite literally follow in your foot steps (or is it the other way around, he looked pretty quick up those hills!😆👍). Thank you as always for taking us along. A pleasure to watch😊👌

3 years ago we did a few days in Harris and the rest in Ullapool, this time we based ourselves in Lochinver and had a great ten days in Assynt. The weather wasn't great, but on windy days we did longer lower walks and a few peaks on the days in between! Thanks so much for the great video it makes us feel we are back!! Keep them coming....:)

Yet another video that I was really looking forward to watch, thank you. A piece of my heart is in Assynt and Coigach, I simply love it up there, it's got to be the most unique place in the UK. I last visited in May and almost climbed Cul Mor then. I say almost as I decided to turn around just before the last steep climb, it was getting late and the weather was deteriorating. I still had a great few hours, and those views from the shoulder over to Suilven and its surrounding area 😍... well, you don't need me telling you 😁I'll be back for sure.

Excellent video! A reluctant ex-pat living in Vancouver, I'll be back in Assynt in a little over two weeks to climb more mountains I first climbed back in the '60s. I was on all three tops of Cul Mor in 2019 in similar weather to yours and on Quinag and Cul Beag in April . . . can't wait to be back! One picky point . . . Cul Mor means "The Big Back", not "Black". Great stuff and keep them coming!
