You are the one that can make anything boring or not!!! At the beginning, i thought plushies were the most boring thing... but you have made it fun and interesting. I also thought jewelry was super boring, but watching other flippers and seeing them buy, bargain and sell for a lot of money has made it super interesting and fun for me. You need to find the 'signed' jewelry (ones with makers names on them). Not all are worth a fortune but there are some 'diamonds in the rough', as they say. Don't worry about bringing a loop or magnifier with you. Just tell them you are looking to find any makers marks on them.🙂 but what you are 'really doing' is checking for silver or gold marks ( they usually don't have a clue). 😁

Great pickup on jewelry - you are learning. Not lame - just not your choice!!

There are tons and tons of costume jewelry available, of which a fraction of 1% has enough value to be worth buying IMO. Like all collectibles, the best strategy is to buy cheap cheap cheap to learn. If you train your eyes to recognize quality construction, you'll at least not get hurt too badly in the pocketbook and will in a few months learn what is worth buying. I'm not sure this is an area for someone who doesn't enjoying focusing on minutia for hours at a time.

That tulip lamp is a great find if it wasn't priced for too much. The Florida pickers sold one similar just a different color for like 4 or 5 hundred, I believe. Look out for those.

Costume jewelry is a NIGHTMARE unless you are REALLY into it and LOVE it . Plus the "bruhs" and "bros" that watch your channel Do Not Like handling "lady things". LOL . They want VIDEO GAMES and GOLF CLUBS. Also Etsy , Postmark and Merceri have HIJACKED all jewelry sales OFF eBay . I guess you can cross list. There are OTHER things you should THINK about getting into ; Vintage Paper Ephemra. IT is the BIG miss with the "bruh" / "bro" resellers. Also takes up NO room. And easy to ship.

I've seen people sell costume jewelry on WN. They never say if it's branded, just that it's costume. I think that's how they can sell fake brands without getting strikes. In my opinion, 'fake anything' is costume jewelry.
