Birds are great to have as pets . We had an African Grey Parrot and we loved him to pieces until he passed away. He use to talk up a storm and was so hysterical, he sang Andy Griffith show theme and sounded just like a person. He would also chase my husband around the house, it was so funny. These birds usually live into their 70’s -80!s , but our bird punctured his stomach and there was nothing we could do to help him , so we had to euthanize him so he wouldn’t suffer. You guys should get a bird , they’re fascinating creatures and can really bond with you , just don’t let your cat near the bird.

I have adhd as well and I relate a lot to the way you talk and buy this is me. My dad is a faster walker but I get distracted and start talking to people and sometimes you meet some cool and nice people.

I like when they sell cookies or bars at garage sales. I bought deer jerky once from one it was good.

How does dawn keep her hair so beautiful and clean

Birds can be a lot of work and as you found out can live several decades. Would need to make provisions in case something happens to you. They can be great pets but also can be noisy and messy and not all talk. Have to be careful what you're cooking in(no Teflon due to toxic fumes) and what you're cleaning with. Some require lots of attention. Not trying to dissuade you, but wanted you to know what to expect. And many regular vets don't treat birds, would need an avian veterinarian.
