Do your kids outgrow clothes and shoes this fast or is it just Ziya?

So fast! This week, my kid woke up and none of his pants fit anymore.

So crazy how fast they grow, the tall kids are the hardest, that's the deal on this end too. I learned something and I see you are dealing with it as well, they fall in love with that comfy shirt and it's hard to let it go. I don't do it with everything but if it's that one item(s) you know they are not going to have again in the stores buy one that fits and then go for the largest size in another one to put up on the shelf. Usually you can get away with it for anything they wear on top since large sizes will always get used. Good luck to you when the weather changes and you have to get her back into warm pants. I went with leggings for the most part for warmth, they fit under dresses, you can put a pretty sweater with them and tall boots and warm fuzzy socks when the legging start getting too short cause they still have not caught up with kids sizes for the tall kiddos. Also I try so hard to keep everything soft and cotton.

My daughter is a year younger than Ziya and yes she outgrows her clothes like every 6 months 😢😂 I’d totally take some of those donations if u’d send them

They definitely outgrow everything super fast!! Funny enough, I just bought my oldest a few outfits from Kohls! They have a lot of cute kid’s clothing!

Omggg I love that you kept her crochet pieces all this time. I remember when you first announced your pregnancy, when Ziya was a newborn, and then she was so small when I made those pieces! Time is flying! Seeing her all grown up and organizing her closet..🥹🥹💖💖💖 love y’all so much!

Not just ziya being allowed to help but love that your taking the time to make sure she learns how to do/figure it out herself.

Shout out to Raven! Ziya is already super analytical, thoughtful and responsible at her age! These are skills she’ll keep for the rest of her life.

I was doing the same thing today! Easy declutter tip: each of my kids have just a simple grocery bag on a hanger in their closet, whenever something doesn't fit or whatever, they just throw it in there and when it's full, it's already bagged up and ready for donation. Same in the mudroom for shoes.

I enjoyed watching this video and it’s always great to see how you teach Ziya life skills and responsibility. I do the same with my 6 yo. Kohl’s is definitely a store that is slept on. You can get a lot for your money if you catch the right sale. I recently got my daughter 10 tops, 8 bottoms, a Columbia fleece jacket, and 2 dresses all for under $225.

I remember growing out of clothes I LOVED as a kid its so hard to let go, watching ziya hold on to memories within clothes is so nostalgic

This type of content is how I found this channel glad to see more videos like this😊😊

Hey Raven. Agree. Love Kohls. And yes. My boys are 28 and 30 now but growing up they did outgrow clothing and shoes/sneakers quickly re: beat up or growth spurts. Lots of donations as some clothing still in great condition. Glad she is involved in the process and understands. Well done Raven.

I do this often with my kid but I definitely need a permanent big for donate. it also helps to know how many things your kid has that fit coz you may have a pile thinking your kid has clothes when most barely fit
