It's not like both of them have conquered their divisions and they want to make a catchweight fight to see who the p4p best is. There's literally NO reason for this fight to be made, except from a financial point of view. Even then, do you really think hardcore fans will pay for this crap? No chance. Casual fans will buy the shit out of it because they're dumb as fuck and only watch Boxing when it's a name they recognize. That's it. Or maybe from the fact that Eubank is genuine fraud that has no ambition for belts, and instead would rather fight natural 154 and 147 pounders like Liam Williams, Liam Smith, Kell Brook(hasn't fought, but called out) and Conor Benn. If he wants to fight these smaller guys, fair enough, but don't expect respect from fans for running from the elite. It's literally that simple.

14 rounds between Eubank Jr and Smith. Eubank Jr. won a minimum of 12 rounds, no need for a 3rd fight. Smith putting on 42lbs is very unprofessional and yet was gloating to Eubank Jr at the final face off, saying how easy to make weight. Love to see Eubank target a title fight as there are 4 different belt holders at Middle Weight. The money fight with Benn can wait. However, it seems deep down he is more focused on the money than titles. Sadly, Simon is right. Benn had the cheek to say he was surprised Eubank Jr had a few cheers after the fight, can't wait until te see the reception he be getting in his next fight.

Nah Chris is Just better than Liam, also Chris didn’t lose because of the weight he lost because he was keeping his hands down looking at the floor away from his opponent and an elbow. Chris won the first 3 rounds and was clearly winning and in this fight Chris didn’t make stupid careless mistakes and the fight played out like it was always going to that’s a typical smith performance that was smith at his best. He always rolls his ankles in every fight even in sparring so that’s not an excuse. He’s always inactive centre ring and is useless going backwards so Chris basically didn’t go to the ropes the whole fight and that alone was able to nullify Liam. Chris is one of the best traders in the game when he punches with you in a trade he’ll always get the better of you so when Liam tried coming in centre ring he was getting bashed up and the reason he wasn’t throwing was because if he did he would’ve got brutally knocked out like Yildrim did and then in 10th round when he went down he went down off of when he tried punching back. Liams style was always perfect for Chris he likes come forward fighters look at Nick Blackwell, Arthur Abraham, Yildrim, Spike o Sullivan, Liam Williams. Chris was always better than Liam that’s just the honest truth in the 2 fights Liam won 1 round where he got lucky because chris was careless and complacent. Chris would knock Benn out cold, would batter and stop Kell, and if he can take Golovkins power he’d be able to get a points victory but I’d make golovkin the favourite. If I was his manger I’d keep him away from Janibek makes no sense. Low money and high risk, Charlo already ducked Chris and hasn’t fought for years, then there’s Lara at 40 years old holding the WBA strap. Most likely easiest right to make of the lot will be the Conor Benn fight but I hope we get golovkin instead.

@mlegend5741 I don't agree with your analysis of the first fight. The 1st 3 rds were pretty even 1-1-1 imo. Eubank got caught up on the ropes in the 4th and took a huge right hand, left hook, which pretty much ended the contest. It is possible weight and complacency played a factor, though. The fight on Sat was the complete opposite, Smith looked totally dead from the 1st round onwards. He plodded around the ring with no urgency at all and only landed 33 punches, which tells you everything really. I agree Eubank is probably the more skilled boxer and may have won anyway, but not that easily. All in all, I think both fighters might have had genuine excuses for their defeats, just an opinion.

I have to say, I would rather see Eubank Jr box in entertaining fights at a lower level than for world titles. He good in the build-up, exciting to watch, and his level is just below world title fights. Let’s see him in even fights for big money, it’s a better watch and he’ll benefit more.
