For real most dudes have no idea how real things can get over the smallest of things

I was dating a girl for 3 months and everything was great then she mentioned to me her daughters father was a police officer in Colombia. When she told me that i really started backing off she was like what happened everything was great. My exact thoughts were if this cop still loves this woman and he doesn't want his daughter knowing another man that his mother is dating that the cop could easily set me up of plant something on me and send me to a Colombian prison to get rid of me. When i got back to the usa i told her why i got so scared to continue to see her. I felt bad but i just felt a cop coupd literally destroy me especially in a country like Colombia. I kept thinking jesus what if i end up in a Colombian prison who will believe me if i told them i was set up. He could have even had me killed. Thats one thing about the America we dont have these worries 😂

I think you did the right thing. Ive met a zillion girls and had a good time for the week. They were all single moms ...the longer your seeing someone the more they start to tell you their problems with rent...food...etc. as for the ex being a cop....your better off not being in the middle. The same happened to me yearsss ago. I met a woman who didnt tell me she was married...to a NYPD cop. I said helll nooooo.....im not getting shot over a desperate house wife!

Often times the girl will tell you she is completely single because she really wants to get with you so you don't even know you're stealing someone else's girl until later on when the whole truth finally comes out. Its hard to imagine livong in USA how lawless Colombia is. My wifes colobian and we had to send money to her father as he owed a debt and was being threatened with a gun. I would never want to live there because the justice system seldom has your back. Thibgs are solved on yhe street rather then court.

This story reminds me of Noah Goldberg another gringo who came to Medellin and decided to compete against the local cartels running girls to sexpats and drugs. He had a big black mafia type taxi driver who was his bodyguard. He used the bodyguard to intimidate people. Noah got popped by 2 sicarios while eating lunch with a client. Medellin isn't a netflix episode and these activities or even less can get you whacked. Leave your ego at home because humility goes a long way in Medellin.

Common sense? Go to another country where the risk of getting killed for picking girl is 0 or close to 0%. Colombia has become too dangerous for dating. It's not worth anymore. That's why I left Colombia after living there for 8 years.
