They can get it from someone else. There are way too many narcissists in the world, both genders. I have had more than my share of that too. Just tired of ppl in general. Facts! A guy I cared about said that to me, and claimed it had nothing to do with me. I told him, you don't want me. Their actions let you know they mean the "with you" part. Some of them say other excuses or sugar coat it. But it all boils down to, they don't want a relationship "with you". They hurt lots of women in the process. I learned the hard way.

These guys out here often have a good thing in front of them but always come back when it’s too late.

That second part, and "YOU still gotta leave his ass alone!" yup. The friends shit doesn't work. It's a trap. Don't do it. Just move on, block his ass, so he doesn't play with your heart strings. He will call you private, email you or show up at your door when he is ready. If that day never comes, at least you moved on. "Either way, leave him alone" !!!

It still hurts, But with maturity, and prayers, we can move on. You will be fine, and there is your purpose out there.

ive been dealing withe this "im not ready for a relationship" for the past 9 months.. yet we act as if we are together... vacations, trips, meeting family, traveling... @@ddanielle9182 sadly he was messing around with another person while we were *talking* I did find out.. nd cut him off.. he was extremely apologetic because he realized what he lost...he decided to show me that he's trustworthy and ready for a relationship.. We've been together since August last year.. everything is amazing.. we live together and we are working on a future together ❤️

Is this equivalent to “lets take things slow” but doing everything like yall in relationship .ex( calling everyday, seeing multiple times a week, wants to be around your child but your against it unless yall are committed” he was dating me for 4 months and I learned long ago men know quickly. He wanted the bond but didn’t want to provide the title. I said to him from the beginning what my deal breakers were and being uncommitted in month 5 or 6 was a no go. He was still stalling but said he was exculsive to me. Um no sir this is not a situationship. You gone give me both the bond and title and not one with out the other. I bounced in month four and he is now blocked. I been through too much men will not waste my time. If you not ready by month 4 of dating 4-5 times and its like we in a relationship just without the title you are wasting my time and you need to move out the way so the man for me can find me. You either put a title or I move on no ifs anda or buts

Means the exact same thing “why you trying to rush things”, “let’s just go with the flow and see what happens”, “ I just got out of a 10 year relationship”, “I mean I don’t like to share, so if you sleep with someone else I’m done”, “I just can’t be the man you need me to be right now”, “I just want to be selfish right now”, “ I love you, I’m just not in love with you”;...........need anymore lines?!? Anything that sounds even REMOTELY close to any of those DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!! I’m just warning you baby girl because no one ever warned me. I even waited to give him the cookie and still wasted a year of my life I can NEVER get back. If he’s not convicted or consistent with what he says. ​​@@studyingeducation8438that's understandable if the man keeps the distance from the start, but if you are the one keeping the distance, saying the obvious (your divorce is too recent, you're not ready yet), asking to keep things platonic and not flirt, and the man still goes after you for 5 months, flirts heavily, jokes about marriage, to finally say "I'm not ready for a relationship yet" once you start letting your guard down (we never got physical, not even a kiss), then it just seems mean. He even seemed sad that I don't believe that he really likes me but simply isn't ready (his words), and I simply believe he doesn't like me enough. Either way it doesn't matter.

I was believing that this person wanted a relationship with me I was falling for it giving him all the passion he wanted...I asked him what he wanted he told me he didn't want a relationship so I had to let him go I really loved him but if he didn't want a relationship with me and all he wanted was my passion I didn't want a any kind of relationship with him either.

I just recently got a divorce from my high school sweetheart of ten years. We grew apart and i am now navigating the dating scene. I use the “I’m not ready for a relationship” line. Even though I am not lying what Stephen said is %100 correct. If a woman is looking for a relationship and your not just leave them alone fellas. There are some women who are just looking for a good time.

You are 100%!! stop dealing with him. Shut it down. Cut off contact of needed so you can heal. It doesn't matter why he is not ready.. the point is he is not for you.

Yeahhh.. I learned this the hard way. I’m just glad he respected me enough to let me go, instead of keeping me there and being toxic. Doesn’t make it any easier tho.

I have been watching these kinds of videos since I was in high school. Word of advice: If you are 25 and under girl just relax. Let go and let flow. Live your life to make you happy not spending time trying to get things you want outta people (i.e commitment). People (not just a man) will gravitate towards you for that. Listen....you may not want to hear what he said in this video but it’s TRUTH!!!!! I dated a guy in 2018 who was 13 yrs my senior, it was not expected and I didn’t go looking for him. The 3.5 months I dated him was THEE WORST! Felt like 10yrs he fed that “I’m not ready, been hurt a lot, taking my time” line sooo much and I just kept hanging out, going to dinner (I paid like an idiot a couple times to try to prove I can be a good friend and woman) waiting to see when he was ready. Not only was he narcissistic, a liar (bc he was talking to another woman behind my back), he lied about why he was still living with his mom as 44yrs old. Lied about his job, was controlling bc he didn’t like that I would get my hair braided, had the nerve to ask me when was I taking them out bc he don’t like braids on women or extensions. He wanted to know where I was at all times, get upset if I didn’t invite him to functions where I wanted to just be with my family and friends. He was divorced (lied about how that went down) with 3 kids by two women, one of the kids live an hr from him he BRAGS about choosing to not be involved in her life. When in the beginning he claimed the woman tricked him into getting her pregnant & lived in Germany with the baby. When I found out about the other woman he claimed he needed to decide between us...UH NO SIR! Let me help you with that... I’m saying all the above to say I DECIDED to see my worth when things started to unravel before my eyes...I prayed and asked God to expose who he was and my purpose bc no woman should compromise or WAIT for any man! He wants you HE WILL SHOW it without any hesitation! If he doesn’t prove or show it...MOVE ON!!! And don’t ever let ANY man OR woman put you in their back pocket and make you feel like your a choice of sides to choose from! I made the decision for him...I WALKED away! And it taught me a lot about myself! As Stephan said...you can’t continue to do beneficial things wasting your time and being used when he doesn’t want you all along! LESSON learned! Watching this brought up sore spots from that situation...and it’s still a healing process bc it’s a lot more to it. But he is telling the truth! Ladies AND gentlemen, know your worth and know the signs!! People make time for they want....

Point blank. If he is telling you he doesn't want a relationship and you do....stop, turn and walk away. I live by the adage to treat others as I want to be treated. I have had men say they wanted more than I wanted to give and they didn't believe me. I refuse to chase any man.

I called if quick. He was a good guy, the commutation was great. But I felt something was hold him back. So I was honest with him and and told him I felt like he was holding back. He explained he’s only 4 yrs divorced and did not want a relationship. I told him he still had some healing to do, and let him know I wasn’t interested in anything casual. We parted friends, and I truly hope he can heal and find his happiness one day.

I wish I would’ve found this video 4 months ago! I put myself in the middle ground like “yeah we can be friends” & that’s where I messed up and got emotionally attached! I’ve definitely learned my lesson!

I met some guy a couple months back on a dating app. I’m in the UK and he’s based in Pakistan. He was in the military...at one point he said to me ‘i want you’ then a few days later he said that he’s not ready for a relationship.. he also said that a relationship would not work due to his field of work and family background. I thought, okay fair enough, you’re busy with work and have other obligations and maybe you’re not ready for a relationship but when he said ‘family background’, i thought to myself what is that supposed to mean? That you’re financially or socially more elite than i am? (I did some research and found out that his dad was an ex-brigadier for the army and that he acts as a political advisor for the national news channel). That made me feel like such shit, as if i werent good enough for him. A part of me was like okay maybe he’s not ready but then 3 weeks later i see that he’s updated his profile picture on the same dating app... men can be such scum man and i hope he gets what’s coming to him... at the end of the day, what goes around, comes back around...

This exactly what I’m going through now. I recently was dating this guy i knew from years ago and he came back showing me so much better . We were so connected . It’s many times I felt like how do I know he not going to do the same thing. We were bickering about his past and friendships that’s no good for him. I gave him respect and he just couldn’t see how I just wanted the best for him. I noticed that he lied to me about stuff and I broke it off but I really thought like I love him he’s been around family I can move past this . I know in the past I had trust issues but I thought really love him I can move past this. He basically told me that he wasn’t ready bc he needed to heal. Of course I’m broken bc I fell for him but the first part and the second part of this video really helped me a lot. He apologized and told me it wasn’t me and like he owed me the respect to face me but I was too heart broken to face him . I still was hurt because I know some stuff just was typical male behavior and Where I messed up at was I been knew he wasn’t ready based of his past . I really should’ve trusted myself and not allowed myself to get this deep knowing deep down in my heart he wasn’t ready for the woman I am.
