Me too
So happy you guys are reacting to one of the most beautiful love songs ever."The Air that I breathe", by the Hollies is timeless.Pure poetry.
That's why it's so fun to watch your reactions. You two seem so close and very much on the same wavelength. For someone who WAS raised on this kind of music, maybe you can see why we are kind of stuck on 60s and 70s music. There was so much love, hope and peace between people. We still try to maintain those feelings today. It's harder now, but worth it.

Exactly. Sitting here and listening to this is just sending absolute chills running up and down.
You guys are so sweet, it is always so wonderful to see a married couple that is so deeply in love. My husband and I will soon be 34 years. It brought tears to my eyes Mel when you said "Can you imagine being raised on this music? Life would be so different." I was, raised on this music and I can tell you for sure, absolutely, positively, that is did give me a different viewpoint of the world, and of love. I grew up listening to this music and it made me believe that as a woman I was deserving of respect and that masculine men were kind and feeling Music was this bright place for me, no matter what was going on in the world or in my life, the music was there in the background with a positive vibe making me feel hopeful . That is why it is such a wonderful thing to expose people to this music and show our children how to enjoy it and that good beautiful things can be fun. Another thing we had that children don't have anymore is music appreciation classes in school. I grew up being taught how to listen and pick out the sound of different instruments. I learned how to play the cello in the school orchestra, and how to read basic music notes. I learned how to sing harmony and perform with the school glee club. It didn't stop there though. The lyrics of songs inspired my interest in writing poetry, and that led to an appreciation for exploring all kinds of art. This has brought me much enjoyment over the years.. The beauty of music and art keeps my life balanced. You guys are really giving a service to people by just showing how to sit down and be still and listen to music with enjoyment and feeling. I think that is one reason I love listening to your channel so much. You two are so much fun. :)

Music and art have a civiliazing effect on people; that's why it's necessary that kids be exposed to them in the schools. We're seeing the effect of a lack of education in music and the arts.

Born in '55 and yes, our music was just the greatest. Point is, we didn't think it was super special because all we had to do was turn on the radio and this kind of thing just poured out, all the time. We were spoiled, I guess.
Beautiful love song. I remember when this came out. I like about all of the Hollie's songs. Great band.
My childhood memories. This is such a beautiful song
The Hollies Have A Large Catalog Of Great Music/Classics/Hits.
I highly recommend a song called "Don't Let Me Down." Of course, I could sit here all day and recommend Hollies songs. These guys were incredible and had such a long career producing so many hits.

I grew up with this music ‘high’ and now in my 60’s I’m still listening to it ‘high’.
Another great band from my home town we have bred so much beautiful music in Manchester🇬🇧❤️
Allan Clarke has such a great voice. We DID get raised on this music and it was glorious! The melodies! The harmonies! Love this channel.
I was raised on this music, I know every generation thinks their music was the best but the late 60s and 70s had the best hands down. One of my favorites is a Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum, it won’t disappoint
another amazing british band
Watching you two hold hands listening to "All I need is the air that I breathe and to love you" makes me hopeful for the world.
My favorite is Look through any window, it's an oldie but goodie

The Hollies are so dang good! I always love their music.
Sean worships Mel, so it's the perfect song for you guys! 🤗🤗
He ain’t heavy is a great song too. This us one of my favorites by them
Y'all are the best advertisement for finding your soulmate. Another epic share from The Lovers. May we all change for the better. Peace and Love. "He Ain't Heavy" and "Bus Stop" are essential Hollies.
This was always such a cool song, The Hollies were amazing!
We lived with this music.🥰
You'll never hear songs like this again
As 70 year old white woman, I have enjoyed every video you made with music from the 50s, 60s and 70s. The music then was endless with new groups every week. American Bandstand was responsible for groups getting exposure. It was an exciting time. I have a request that is out of the ordinary. Gomer Pyle was a tv show that was in the 60s. Jim Nabors plays Gomer. There is one video where he sings The Impossible Dream and is unbelievable. His singing voice is nothing like his Gomer voice
I had to smile when you asked where do we find this music. We grew up with it on the radio! And yes, that music did become a part of who we were and who we are today. You two are a blessing to watch! I've been happily married 43 years and I wish you the same happiness for many years to come.
My beloved mum's favourite group! The Hollies came from Manchester, about 30 miles from where I live. My early childhood is filled with their music. All the songs people have been suggesting are great. Alan Clarke , the lead singer, has one of the most distinctive voices ever
One top songs of all time just what they play great live band
As an old guy I concur... it was different back then. This was an average song on the radio at the time. We really did have great music back then. I feel very lucky to have grown up in that musical environment.
Discovered these guys in the late 60's during Vietnam with the song he ain't heavy he's my brother. Long cool women in a black dress is another. Long resume here.
60's, 70's was my generation and we had the best music, took talent back then. I now have children, grandchildren and great grandchildren that all love the classic rock era, including 1 yr. old great grandson that loves Beatle music!
Amazing awesome song❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Maybe this will stick in your head for a couple of decades!
Beautiful to see you both on the same page!
The Hollies have quite a few hits. My favourite is "He Aint Heavy". But here are more great songs by them. "Carrie Anne" "On A Carousel" "I'm Sorry Suzanne" & "I Can't Let Go"
I love watching young people when they hear music from my days! You two are so cute and it's so obvious how much in love you are!!!!!
Another good song by the Hollies is STOP STOP STOP with a Banjo played in it

What are my very favorite groups of the 60s I’m a child of the 60s… In high school, these groups like the hollies were doing their thing and everything was all good. That rabbit hole for the hollies is very deep
I was raised on all the music you all are just discovering...soft rock will blow you away.

You guys are a young version of my parents. The love in your eyes for each other is beautiful.
One of the great groups. Allan Clark is a much underrated lead singer.
One of those moments... I can remember exactly where I was the first time I heard that soaring intro guitar note (on a school bus travelling to my first year of high school!). The song sent a shiver down my spine then, and it still does every time I hear it. Unforgettable.

Beautiful reaction, love your facial expressions ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your reaction to this classic raised my spirits. Thank you.
A classic from the Spring of 1974.
You guys are special. The years ahead may bring hardships and challenges, but I hope you always keep that precious emotion in your hearts for each other -- because children, that's all you will ever really need.
What a beautiful reaction by both of you.

Thanks for your music
In a House party in my Teens we would all go quiet when this came on but would all sing the chorus,in tune,no shouting, jus singing it.Loved it and thanks.
What I love about this song is the respectfulness, the message is clear without any rudeness or explicit content at all. This man is expressing what is truly important to him, in his life, what makes him happy, how much he loves his wife and the life they live together.
"All by myself" by Eric Carmen is another like this. Its WONDERFUL! AND while ur at it, listen to "Go all the way" by Eric Carmen and the Raspberries, too! TRUST me, you will LOVE LOVE LOVE them BOTH!
