Many ladies will agree with me me that Lenny's voice is not the only thing about him that is dreamy... On another note, I get quite emotional every time i hear this song, even 20+ years later. Great song.

I'm mostly a country fan, but I love quite a bit of pop and rock too. Even though it's been decades since this song was released, it's one of my favorites. Also love It ain't over till it's over.

Good song from 2000. He won a Grammy for Best Rock Vocal Performance for that.👍

I saw him in spring 1990 or 1991 when he opened for Tom Petty, and the Heartbreakers. He was pretty much just know as Mr. Lisa Bonet at the time, but I had seen his video for Let Love Rule, and couldn't wait.

Ha, I saw that tour, too, but in Indiana!! We came from Chicago to see the Cult, but were totally blown away by Lenny. Of course the Cult were amazing as always 😁

We had the DJ play Lenny Kravitz's "I Build This Garden For Us" at our wedding reception, great love song! Also from the same debut album, be sure to check out his very Beatles-esque "Let Love Rule" (also the name of that album). It's probably my absolute fave from him......I was fortunate enough to meet Lenny on the streets of Philly back in the late 80's!! Besides being dressed to kill, he stopped to talk to me. and he is the nicest guy! We talked about numerous things, like my old boyfriend, favorite song, and he asked me to sing and dance for him.....I froze on the dancing.....because you know, he's Lenny Kravitz!! I really think I missed a huge opportunity that day.....Anyway as he left, he told me to just "Let Love Rule"!!

This song earned Lenny his 3rd Grammy. Next try "Let Love Rule", "It Ain't Over Til It's Over", or a great cover of Guess Who's "American Woman". Also Lenny sang his "Calling All Angels" (not the Train song) at the 2023 Oscars telecast In Memoriam.

Lenny Kravitz was high school times for me, going back and forth on the bus every day, radio blasting "Again" or "American Woman". Back then I saw him as a possible new Hendrix with his appearance, but he seemed to have a cluster of hits and vanished. He was married to Lisa Bonet (Cosby Show, A Different World) who is so beautiful, and they had daughter Zoe Kravitz. Divorced in '93, but what a couple.

I don't think so. He wrote Little Girl's Eyes for Zoe, which makes me cry every time. Also, Flowers for Zoe. The latter is on the Mama Said album, the former is on the 5 album along with I Belong to You.
