How did I forget this interview. I love Yoel Romero - what’s a legend

I feel for Yoel here because Izzy stated he was challenging Romero because he wanted to be the first person to stop him in a fight. Izzy sustained this narrative in ALLL the build up, Yoel, me and the fans were expecting a real fight and yet again we get the slow pace counter show we've come to expect from Izzy every time now. Costa took risks against Izzy but Romero was too smart so it did not end the same way.

I understood where he was coming from but the styles are just different, Yoel is by far the more respectable athlete in terms of how much he puts on the line when it comes to fighting. Israel did what he had to do to get a win

Yoels last UFC fight, wish he had a few more, he’s been doing pretty well in Bellator 🙌

I wish gastelum could get a 2nd shot. Romer whittaker and Costa all are heavy hitters and didn't close the distance or keep adesanya in the pocket. They let him get out of the pocket and let him use his distance to pick them apart.
