Respect
Its honestly the grannys teaching us the language isnt it not only for spainish but for any language. I also learnt my home language from my grandmother since she didnt talk any english at all i needed to talk to her in that language and it forced me to learn the language and also while hearing my mum speak it with her helped me alot. So if your first language is english but your parents are from different places highly suggest you to spend time with their grandparents
I learned mamabichoooooo 😂😂😂😭
I wanna learn so bad!!!

Go for it!! You just gotta know what they say word for word and you'll be unstoppable. Like for example, they say "hasta mañana" means "see you tomorrow, but word for word it means "Until morning". Hasta means Until, mañana means morning 😁😊
Have fun en el caserío. Rellenos de papa, mofongo, empanadillas, alcapurias, son comida de calle😂 Hay mucha mejor comida en la isla.
New yorico lol
Estoy esmallao. Me encanta.
JJAJAJAJAJA HE TALKED PR WITH A MURCIAN EXPRESSION AND IT SOUND SO GOOD
I love it 🇵🇷
heard my boyfriend bring out the “mamab*cho” out of frustration one day and was confused, he had to explain to me that no, it has nothing to do with bugs. I was very embarrassed lol. I have…so much still to learn.
Hope to sound native after studying n conversing with native speakers👊🏿

I'm half Puerto Rican and Dominican but I'm ngl, you can't go wrong with pizza and tacos. I love arroz con guandules y maduros y aguacate y pollo guisado but, it gets tiring almost every week lol. I been staying to stay in shape with Cucumber salads and shit 😂. But Cucumber salads are actually good though.
now i want in pr 😂
I just got drunk on coquito listening to this lmao
That's the way to do it.
Fine! ❤
Wooow Rocky & I look forward to learn 🇵🇷 spanish

En Andalucía también se dice desmayado ( e'maya'o) con el significado de hambriento. El " acho" también de usa en Murcia y en Extremadura .
My Mexican Spanish wants to know where your “s” are 🙉

I live here in PR but I would need to spend 3 months with a non-English speaking abuela too cuz so many people speak to me in English that I hardly get to practice 😂

I know how effective it is because I used to spend summers with relatives in Czech Republic and by the end, I'd be way more fluent.
Relleno de papa 😍
I really like that after I started learning Spanish I can read the captions and actually understand/ get a real gist of what your saying lol

es brutal!!
I can understand talking about a local variety of Spanish from whichever region, but …. Standard Spanish and standard English or for that matter any standard version of a popular language - will take you far in the business world and get one understood in many places.
Pizza and tacos? No I want food food🤣
Acho 😂❤
Okay okay slow down😊
Went to Puerto Rico last summer with my mom's to visit distant family. I wish I came back speaking Spanish like a champ. Ha ha ha ... gotta go back soon. Loves ❤️ it there!!!

You traveled to Spain already wait till you go to the Canary Islands. That's the Spanish dialect that we get the majority of our Puerto Rican Spanish from and then some influences from Andalusia/southern Spain
