For those who don't know. He threw the ball to avoid the 8 secs half court violation so the enemy cannot take possession. But unfortunately that happens, and becomes more favorable to the opposing team.

Homie's brain short circuited lol
if coach bennett had never won that national title in 2019 he would’ve most definitely be in the hot seat and put on blast for a coach that good in regular season games but the coach always can’t get it done in the playoffs to lower level seed teams
Chris Webber is like thank you now they can forget about my bonehead play
Virginia sold so hard
March madness is crazy!!!
So many things went against them and they still won. Wow
We all thought the same thing..
That reminds me of Jordan hitting the last shot for the National Championship against Georgetown in 1982. The same action with the ball going through net and explosion in the crowd.
That sound of it going through the hoop “boop”

Ultimate choke
One choked. One stepped up. Two lives changed in one play.
He will make it up in NBA!!!!!
Open team mate right freakin there
I wouldn't say, he "threw the ball away". That pressure defense was perfectly executed. That "throw away" was improvised. And looked to me, that he was expecting a foul to come. Great defense caused the turnover.

Well he did what the script called for
This is the second time I've seen this happen. When I was a teenager, I watched a guy at a state basketball championship do this exact same thing and lose the exact same way.
I’m not gonna lie as a teammate. I would’ve been mad at that boy for that.
Crazy thing is dude was open at the 3 across the court 🤦🏽♂️
Someone owed the mafia money
And he was a senior too 🤦🏿♂️
WELCOME TO YOUR KODAK MOMENT 😂😂😂😂
It’s always easy to see the open man when you’re watching the game from your couch. Kihei Clark is only 5’10” and was smothered by two taller players in the corner in the final seconds of an NCAA tournament game. No game is decided by one play. Give this young man a break and give him credit for a great four year career that included a national championship.
Bro ain’t no way this the heat commentator lol
Imagine that being your legacy lol the guy who threw the ball away.
Dude will be traumatized for the rest of his life
Look at the defense he played after throwing the pass I think his logic was throw the ball in the air as high as possible to waste the time smh
