Carlton were missing players through injury at the first half of the season. We didn’t see their “fans” giving the benefit of the doubt. All the abuse and for what?! You can’t then use injuries as a badge of honor when you are winning again. What a joke club with a joke fanbase. 🤣🤡😂

It took ages to change the back line when there were obvious underperfomers. Once Kemp came in, it gave Weitering more confidence to do what he does. No one can play well if you are second guessing your team mates or don't have confidence they will hold their own. Kemp from his first game in was fantastic. and its helped Weitering no end

Flag or not, the boys have won the season in my eyes. What a comeback. What a statement. 💪

Just posted exactly the same thing. It means Welters can have the confidence to do what he does. Totally agree with you. I think its been a massive difference to the team. I don't want to name anyone but there was a Carlton defender who all the opposition had to do was kick in his direction and they'd get through the Carlton defence. It was that obvious - the opposition could target that player - wherever he was they could kick it there, he'd lose or not even attempt a possession and they'd score. Hope Kemp doesn't get injured but I would really hope they'd use Silvagni as back up defender We also have Marchbank back now so I think he will improve as he get more game time.

@@annetessari1004 haha Lewis young. I hope Carlton don’t go out this off season and get players. Besides a ruckman Carlton don’t need anyone else and should develop the players we have drafted. A good example is the young and kemp move. We get young but now he doesn’t play. Imagine we used kemp last season

I think that the turnaround in form is due to the motivational speakers that were yelling about "The Emblemmmm" at the players after the Essendon loss. Sometimes it's the little gestures that really make a person reflect and do better. If I ever run into that "Emblemmm" guy at a pub, I'm gonna say "It's amazing that they haven't lost a game since you and your mates gave them a talking to." Then I'm gonna go outside and piss on his car. I'll try to do it in the shape of the emblem, but my steering isn't as good as it once was. What a flog.

Im a pies supporter and predicted a Collingwood v Carlton Grand Final this year which in theory could still happen! But never believed Carltons position or standing in the AFL only 8 short weeks ago a true reflection of carlton or voss as coach in 23! that is exactly why this year is so wide open! Kudo's to Voss & blues for their timing thus far is tracking beautifully? Is thirteen a good numerical omen for the blues i wonder? If they keep this winning streak going & raise the cup? 13 wins on the bounce? What 3less than last years premier.. interesting times

Triple preimer team mates from the same dynasty as opposition coaches of the two arguably biggest & most despised of each other as rivals? Well you just know & feel destiny for these clubs now awaits in the GF.. EVENTUALLY

Going forward whether this season pans out for the Blues or not their efforts in the past couple of months has warmed the hearts of the Navy Blue Army . Next year we might see a group that can step up and push for the top The Window of opportunity as a player to have the right age and games played and maturity this is required to win seasons is not a huge window so when that time comes you have to give it your best shot

Buckling is right Voss kept his cool and his message simple . It’s defence !! I m clear what we are clear about … he fixed the holes in defence and stayed the course in the game plan and the PLAYERS bought into his belief and executed .

Anyone doubting vossy as a superstar player, coach and a great footy mind should recuse themselves from ever discussing afl in any format ....ever again. Hes a legend

Totally agree and Id believe that rumour for sure. He was not up to AFL standard by a long long way and poor Weitering did not know what to do. I really felt for him and you could see his confidence disappearing every week. He's back now. Kemp has been fantastic.

The next in philosophy:) Helps them swarm and get people around the ball.

Carlton peaking to early. Will drop off come sept due to their style of hard footy. Collingwood is too cosy in the top spot and will drop another couple but probably beat essendon for top spot and go on to win their way into a grand final spot. 👌 up the pies!!!!

Collingwood will run out of players the way they are going. They will end up on top, but it's all even once the finals start and Collingwood are beatable. To beat Geelong (who weren't even in the 8) by only 8 points doesn't say much.
