Okay I just wanna say that these 'Worst Skills' really do prove that in Anime, no real gamers actually exist. Especially considering how narrow minded you gotta be to consider a skill 'Bad' Medicine being useless because you can buy potions- Listen if I can make my own potions I can save my money for better weapons and armor. Archery being bad because it's low accuracy: Listen this isn't a turn based RPG, the enemy isn't gonna stand around wait to be shot, and VRMMO is only gonna assist you so much for learning how to use a bow. Kick has no special skills or fancy moves- Listen when I need to pick kicking as a skill I don't need the Falcon Kick, I just need the ability to punt something small outta my way or give my enemy to old 'This is SPARTA!' treatment. Sneak costing a lot of MP and deactivating on moving so I can't run away- Listen if I'm at the point where I need to run away I'm already f*cked, sneaking is meant as an AMBUSH tactic not a retreating tactic cause that's the things, when everyone is on high alert staying hidden is pretty hard. Improved Physical Ability not providing much of a boost- Listen a Boost is a Boost, whether it's a flat number boost or a percentage boost. Especially if combined with other skills (Like Kicking) Wind Magic being the worst for attacking- Buddy in a VRMMO (Or an Isekai magical world) a Wind Mage is gonna be a scary thing when they can use it indirectly. "Wind Magic doesn't hurt much" Okay how about this HOUSE that I'm using Wind Magic to hurl at you. Trying to chase me down? Good luck keeping track of me in a sandstorm. Meanwhile IRL what are gamers doing? "Hello and welcome to my Soulsborne series nuzlocke, we'll be starting with Demon Souls and ending with Elden Ring, and if I die I'll have to start all the way back from Demon Souls."

Admittedly, I have encountered players that have thumbed their nose at "medicine" skills, but often because it was hard to run out of potions. Of course anyone coming from Skyrim will automatically choose sneak and archery ;) while magic sucked.

Speaking as an actual VRMMO player. Most of the original statements were accurate. Archery classes are usually looked down on because they don’t do as much dps and require more accuracy than just a mage or swordsman build. (Especially if there is no aim assist) Medics are very niche. You only need one or 2 for an entire guild and everyone else just runs dps. Ambush tactics are ignored a lot too because you can only use them once per battle and they don’t do enough damage to outperform or even equal other dps on big fights. And a boost ISNT always a good boost. You always go for the boost that gives the most benefits overall. Some games, speed buffs just allow for more dps than the damage buffs and vice versa in other games. It really just depends on the game and what’s needed the most. I’ve played mmo’s for a LONG time and now even playing the VRMMOs none of those claims were inherently false. You just compared a Soulsborne player to MMOs….which isn’t even remotely the same. Idk if you can talk about real gamers and then immediately turn around and compare Soulsborne games to MMO tropes.

I was thinking the same. They all take strong starter skills that dont improve. While he choose the strongest. Combo of skills. Archery and sneak. Potion and craftmanship. Kick and wind magic. Those are some OP combos. Who says those skills are bad. Ur skills are only as bad as your gameplay. This guy proves it.

It's a fucking anime who gives a shit. Half of anime is so unrealistic, it is used as a classifying tool for people who like it. And while I respect the fact that yes, this entire thing is not how a good gamer would play, you have to understand that someone came up with this probably in their basement, in which they did an amazing job. You have to understand that for all it's worth, this is a decent anime, so just enjoy it rather than talking about how unrealistic it is.

A little constructive criticism. Pin the name in the comment section or in the description use both English and Japanese names as well if it has a Chinese name add that as well. That way people don't go asking for what is the name it helps you out and it helps us out just in case we want to look it up and watch it for ourselves. Just because you write it in the comment section doesn't mean it's easy to find that's why I said pin it or put it in the description where it won't get lost amongst the thousands of comments. Because KZread doesn't have a filter to filter out or sort for the very first comment you either get top comment or newest first just a little constructive criticism.

They do it on purpose. They know people will check the description so they put sponsored/affiliate links there and a message to check the comment section. Then when you check the comments, because they don't pin THEIR OWN comment with the title in it, it forces you to search for it or other comments with them hoping you'll see something that you'll comment on in your search to find the sauce. They call that "authentic engagement" and it helps promote their channel and videos in the KZread algorithm. They do it on purpose, and I report each and every video I see like this.

I mean as someone who watched this in order to understand the anime story and plot to see if this anime will interest me, it saved me from a lot of animation spoilers that ud get to see if you decided to watch the whole series. So i think it serves some purpose for some people out there.

This anime is literally D&D's Ranger: The Show. Loads of people dismiss the ranger because it starts out weaker than most classes, but has loads of potential to be built many different ways. Give it time, add in tool and skill profs, and you will eventually have a powerhouse of a class.

I don't know man. I like ranger and gloomstalker is quite good. but I think overall the ranger is poorly designed. Most people would complain about 5e's og ranger having very DM dependent abilities, and that's honestly undeniable. Some stuff has come out since that helps fix them up but they honestly fit best as all rounders and not as a speciallized class. My brother and I have been talking about homebrewing up rework of our own for them. Concept is to take the original PHB subclasses and make them into aspects of the core class in the same way that Warlocks choose a pact boon.

@@JimyRoze The funny thing is... it's only slightly undertuned for the most part. What most people are referring to is the combat potential of the class. Yes, compared to other classes, ranger cannot usually dish out the raw DPS that other classes can bring to the table with some exceptions. Some of the subclasses are definitely undertuned when you compare them to others as well, but some others do work quite well if you are creative enough. Multiclassing also takes away a lot of issues as well. Some might argue that removes the entire point, but I'd argue that there are very few subclasses in the game that benefit from being "pure" compared to multiclassing from a mechanical standpoint. I saw a video not too long ago where someone created the Goblin Slayer from the anime by the same name using the Hunter Ranger Subclass and the Battlemaster Fighter Subclass and I gotta say, it looked really interesting. Another, which I've done actually before having that video come out, talked about a drakewarden ranger that was a pirate of the high seas, and that kind of flavor really speaks to me. Are there subclasses that are definitely undertuned or kind of wonky? Without question, but to be honest, I'd challenge anyone to find a single class that doesn't have subclasses that aren't this way as well. Tasha's did a lot to help bring more to the table with the optional rules for rangers, and for rangers specifically, i'd highly recommend running them. THe Drakewarden ranger I talked about earlier used Tasha's to also trade in the dwarven weapon profs for tool profs, and using those with my background and ranger abilities, that brought a ton to the class. Sure I might not be doing top tier fully optimized DPS, but I was able to bring a lot to the table, and I had loads of fun doing that. You mentioned that they are better as all rounders and I'd 100% agree. Rangers might not be the absolute best at anything specific, but what they can do is bring a ton to the table in many different categories. They are also a class that benefit a lot from how creative a player can be, especially out of combat. The more flexible a ranger can be, the more they can contribute in literally any situation. While they might not be the absolute best at something, being really good at many things is also a very good way to contribute to the party success and advancement.

It's funny how in games most people will dismiss skills and classes because they are weak when they first try them. Only to find out later that when paired with other skills or when leveled up properly will the skill truly shine or in some cases be horrendously overpowered

I think you kind of forgot that it is a VR game that beams sensations to your brain. This is how they feel touch and pain and pleasure and can enjoy the tastes of foods and drinks. It is also why the other players are jealous of the main character for having girls after him, because if he chose he could enjoy their bodies as if it were real life.

If you were reading a book and you looked at the first page and the back cover where the phrases and quotes go, then it wasnt interesting, you'd still read it? There is an error that the creators made : in part 7 the arrows he made were normal but in the fight with the the skeleton guard , he used twist tipped arrows .
