Its always so jarring seeing Novels i've read turned into animations years later. I never expected them to be popular enough to get a series but I'm constantly surpriesed and love that they are finally getting the recognition the love they deserve.

It's bloody horrible. I've read so many novels that became manga and then become anime. The quality degradation is absolutely horrid. Literally loose like 80% of the story.

@@whygamingwhy2404 In a way I agree with you. I don't think us novel readers can be satisfied with the diluted product without suspending our disbelief to a large degree. I've come to the conclusion that one simply close their heart to it for the greater good overall. As long as it gets more traction I can look forward to another book which can prepare me to weather more watered down variants in the form of new seasons of aime and mange elsewhere. A book getting transferred properly to manga and the material managing to not get corrupted by the time it gets moved to anime is unfortunately the exception and not the rule...

It's not "lose your cool" but "lose your head" which can mean to lose your cool but in this case it means literal beheading. That's why beheading the boss killed it. In this fantasy world, beheading kills or destroys any creature.

Right? No exaggerated face slapping, arrogant although he was quite op but it was wholesomely done, reminding me of rimuru. Although many guys said it was boring. I'm convinced men and women like different kinds of Anime. I would have appreciated a little sprinkle of bromance with the bear assassin guy but can't have it all.

I just got done with this series a few days ago. It is a really well done series. Not like a lot of isekai's. I don't think the main character is op they have him training and progressing over years of training. Makes the story feel better in my opinion. I hope there is a second season.

It's a bit of a stretch, but I can see it. Don't think it's specific to the U.S though, that'd be odd considering the origin location of the story.

This series is very funny and enjoyable, definetly recommend watching and reading it The great cleric I read the manga but when the anime was released I watched it weekly both subbed and dubbed because it's very fun and I enjoy comedy anime more in English(shame saiki k will never get a season 2 dub)
