I thought the king was the only guy who didn't hate the hero In the manga, the citizens were scared of his power, and hated him for not aging, so they begged the king to kill him, the king tells him the situation, and tells the main character he could give him a mansion, or live in the castle, but the MC left because of the people found out, they would overthrow the king

Yeah, these recap channels get A LOT wrong. They don't exist to do a good job, they exist to churn out content. The sheer amount of times this channel misgenders characters is bizarre, but a clear indicator the person reading the narration probably hasn't even seen the anime they are narrating and haven't a clue about any of it.

prob the saddest things about this is the fact that the only true friends he had turned out to be the demons. firstly the goblin who told him to be himself before being dragged off. then eventually the generals and other castle residents. even more shocking was finding about what his creators did to his mind, talk about messed up.

It's logical to be afraid of something because that something is possible. But if that fear makes you back someone into a corner it becomes inevitable.

The king forgot the addage, keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer. By exiling the hero, the king only created a powerful enemy, assasination or just sating the hero with luxuries and perversions would be the proper approach to addressing his fears.
