The Zohar is a compilation of Jewish works on mysticism, the universe, creation, etc. that contains hidden wisdom & advice on how to be a real human being... and not just some smart animal, who's getting by from day to day. Find a way to translate it. Check out Bnei Baruch sometime, and delve into the Kabbalah. All of it will give you the answers that you seek. 😉 It's not a Jewish manga, I promise. Haha

Fantastic story. Mysticism/Gnosticism are the keys to the meaning of life, but our belief systems have been gutted of it - particularly by rabbinic judaism & catholicism - for profit and power, but even buddhist cultures are guilty of it these days.

Rabbinic Judaism is a not a system of profit and power. I’m not a Jew but even I know that. Perversions of teachings are not the fault of the original teaching. Gnostics, however, were self-righteous narcissists with a view that salvation could be earned by secret knowledge and they happened to be the only purveyors of it. Yeah, and I’ve got a bridge to sell. Ironically the Zohar Scroll itself was created in the 1300s for personal profit, so all this nonsense sounds great but is nonsense.
