Carol was H really emotionally deprived ? He had a loving mother and father plus a brother who were part of an extended family .Perhaps H did not appreciate what he had or may be someone influenced him to believe he was not important to his relatives.

Yes, it was pretty much obvious from the start that she was a wrong 'un. And for this an entire nation must suffer.
