This is great news. People have to realize that there are NO quick fix supplements to correct what ails you. Nothing beats following a proper balanced lifestyle by eating real UNPROCESSED foods, getting plenty of exercise and sufficient rest/sleep. Turn back the clock and live like our ancestors did before the likes of McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, Coca Cola and the like. Good health to you.

Because something is "natural" does not mean that we can take it in excessive amounts. We would not take prescribed drugs in an unbridled fashion. Herbs are indeed medicine and should be used with caution. Excellent video, Dr. Joe!

Thanks for his excellent video, Dr Joe. When I saw the title I wondered what drastic measure could have made a man destroy his kidneys within 2 months, and I wasn't too surprised that *it was due to an abuse of the extract.* *Too much of everything is bad - even water.* All the incidences of liver and kidney problems show abuses of this extract. People seem to just pop or eat things they have no idea of the impact on their system. Just a little check on what exactly they are putting in their body could have prevented these issues.

Hello I heard about this happening about 3 years ago. To be safe make sure you take Green Tea Extract only if you have eaten first. Taking Green Tea Extract on an Empty stomach will go straight to the liver and It is almost like Drinking Alcohol without eating. Just like the food absorbs the Alcohol thus when you take a Green Tea Extract you must eat food or else it will go straight and be absorbed by the Liver. I almost took my Green Tea Extract without eating the other day and I had to remember to eat breakfast first. Remember this is an Extract and is very strong and it will work and it is in a lot of weight loss supplements. You may see a Weight loss pill with White Leaf Tea Extract, Green Tea Leaf Extract and Black Tea Leaf Extract and you know you had better eat before taking this type of supplement and I know this is a powerful formula.

I’m a green tea drinker & have most all my life. Every day at least one cup of green tea, sometimes more. I would never take a green tea supplement either. My mother is Japanese so green tea is a staple. I also eat a lot of fish, seaweed, miso soup, and rice with fermented pickles. The key is moderation in all things & the elimination of chemically laden processed foods. There is no magic supplement for easy/fast weight loss, unfortunately.

However, now whenever I have lemons they cause me to have an iritis flare up. The steroids caused me to become type 2 diabetic. Do you have any insight as to why my liver reacts to lemons after taking the Methotrexate? 95% of what of drink is water/ mineral water. And I limit starch and sugars. Thank You Dr. Joe😊

Your liver should have recovered by now having stopped the methotrexate. I suspect the problem is not with your liver. Rather your eye tissues may not like the phenolic acids in lemons, hence your iritis flares up. We react to all sorts of substances in foods and this may be one example of that
