Nick is the man on the Dyno tuning. I have heard about him from Facebook and speaking to him personally he knows his stuff.

650Ib: I’m the guy that brought his stock R1M ECU in for Nick to reflash right after this video ended...... I couldn’t be happier with how it ran when I got home and put the bike back together.... I told him to flash it for a full system (not installed yet, sitting in my living room) so it runs a little rich, but the bike is better EVERYWHERE. The throttle is Wayyyy better at small throttle openings in all modes and it handles mid corner throttle openings so well it isn’t an issue anymore. The bike wheelies a lot more in the midrange in 2nd, which it barely did before so the big hole in the power curve around 6500rpm is filled in quite a bit. Anyone wanting to get an ECU map done and have been kicking the can down the road, the $175 you spend on a flash with nick will give you better and more noticeable gains than you might get with anything else for that kind of money. It’s just a couple of screws and panels/covers,..... flash that bike and smile every time you crack the throttle!

americans versions cut at 13.000 rpms, europeans versions at 14k ... and too lean low range rpms for pass emissions ... a good reflash change this !!

That looks like a delicious tune. Lovely power curve. Lot more juice in the mid range and an insane top-end. Keeps on building power till close to 14k!

I just have flashed my ECU by Nick Marino was all stock but air filter and Graves slip on ! What a difference it made ! Now my ECU is on the way back for reflashing for full Akropovic ! I CAN'T hardly wait for the results

@@baksooobaksooo4816 It has supercharger it's kinda cheat :). Also stock vs stock h2 is not that fast. ZX10 is way faster. But when you mod it by doing ecu flash and tune with full system and air filter you get up to 250HP at the rear and up to 280HP if you upgrade the supercharger gears and impellers. Straight line h2 is fastest but bike period but r1m is not a straight line bike it made to destroy the track it's very nimble and agile it's not a drag bike but it can be done too. H2 can be ridden in track but it's heavy and not as fast as basic liter bike on the track.

the americans version are underpowered... european versions do 10 hp more stock and cuts around 14000 rpms ... this american version cut at 13000 ... obamas cares !! jeje

Not obvious! Not only peak, but all around! A proper tune! (edit: a Yamaha tuned at Ducati!? That's news for me!!)

I just got my dream job of all dream jobs as a service tech at a high end shop. Yesterday was my first day and I had the opportunity to make a few dyno pulls on an S1000 RR. Seriously not kidding, best day at work in my entire life, i still can't believe I get paid to do this. The future is looking good.

Sidon The dontknow mine too!! I am totally happy just to own a 04 R1 and I do thank god for it everyday.

Just finished watching the video where you changed the gearing, it looked like the front sprocket was the same number of teeth but the rear went down 1 tooth, if I caught that correctly. Do you think the gearing change had any affect on the final numbers?

I was 5hp to high on this one, mapping looks good, are you able to play with the intake runner map? May not help with HP but could pull some more torque just messing with the fuel atomization profile. 13.0 made good power on dyno but 12.8 might be better umph for street. Good stuff.

Hey IB I been experimenting with a fuel booster. I am sure if you have heard of it.. might want yo look into it.... I have been trying it out on my built bagger. It's called BOOSTANE. keep up the good work

Check egt. You can run rich and advance timing but if you go more than 5 degrees you need to regap the plugs.

Next challenge for you: build a V4R / RSV4 that provide 220+ HP rear wheel. Gosh I wish it could happen

Its ignition timing, controlling when the spark plug lights the fuel/air mixture to get the most effective bang to push the piston down, the spark happens before the piston reaches the top of the cylinder so there's more pressure to push it = more power out of the engine. It is very possible to go too far and damage the engine which is why it's a job for an expert.

Giving the Bike Away 😳 what !!!!! Even if I get a Superbike I don't think I'll be able to handle it. I've never ridden a four cylinder before. I guess the R3 is an okay bike for me 😄 that'll do.

184 hp is exactly what i expected. He flashed mines and i also went up 11 hp. If you look at it that were it should be with out any mechanical changes. 20% from the crank with they heavy ristrictions removed. Very satisfied customer👍the rest depends on how fat you are🤔good shit ib's
