[HD] - Santa Fe 3751 Departs Fullerton Railroad Days 2015

She Returns! Santa Fe 4-8-4 #3751, steamed to Fullerton RR Days this year and returned after missing Fullerton RR Days for 7 Years. She was paired up with a brand new ES44C4, also a display for RR Days, to the event. She might return this September. Enjoy! :D

I was there. That was the Amtrak southwest chief horn battling with 3751. Too bad I couldn't see her leave cause right after that the last metrolink train to Los Angeles arrived.

WHY was the diseasel coupled ahead of the 3751?? Whoever made this decision has no soul!

On the bright side, 3751 was actually pushing the GEVO from the sounds from 3751! I never heard 3751 chuffing so hard before, It was probably going full throttle. :p

MrRailfanHD Perhaps, but the people at trackside came to see, hear and photograph the 3751, not the diseasel. The magnificent 4-8-4 should have been given pride of place, not the cookie-cutter GEVO.
